Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Visited today from Worcester. Our tour guide John was knowledgeable, passionate and funny! Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend. The Back to Backs are fascinating. Steeped in history.

SPENT 2 DAYS, WHICH YOU NEED, LOOKING AND EXPERIENCING THIS MUSEUM. TRAVELODGE NEXT DOOR SO 5 MIN WALK TO ENTRANCE. EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY, AND IF YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO SEE RICHARD AS THE SCHOOLMASTER YOU WILL LOVE IT. BROUGHT BACK MEMORIES FROM MY CHILDHOOD WITH THE MUSIC AND SIGHTS. BE AWARE THAT THE FISH AND CHIPS ARE WONDERFUL BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO QUEUE AND THEY ARE NOT CHEAP. THE PIT IS WORTH A LOOK BUT NOT FOR ANYONE AFRAID OF THE DARK. THE TRIP ON THE NARROWBOAT IS VERY INFORMATIVE AND LOCATED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE MUSEUM. ALL ROUND IT WAS A VERY GOOD TRIP, TRY TO GO WHEN IT IS NOT HALT-TERM OR SUMMER HOLIDAYS AS THERE WERE LOTS OF CHILDREN, WELL BEHAVED, WITH THEIR TEACHERS.

Cadbury World is a great day out with the whole family. Fun for the kids and great for the adults too. The history of the Cadburys is really interesting too.

My son and I visited the RAF Midlands in May 2024. The museum was not far from the Cosford train station. It took a 15 minute walk to the entrance. Firstly, this museum has an incredible Cold War exhibit! There were so many planes, helicopters, missiles and many other historical artifacts during that timeframe. It also covers other eras but my college aged son was interested in learning more about the Cold War era. Secondly, my son enjoyed an engaging conversation with Henry who described the finer details of the planes on display. The front desk and gift shop staff were also so friendly! We enjoyed our visit very much! The only issue we had was our train was delayed and only allowed 3 hours to visit. Don’t miss this museum and plan 4-5 hours if you’re an airplane or history nut, like my son.

Undoubtedly the best museum I have ever been to. You would need to be interested in the history of Coventry, or Motor cars, or Motorcycles, or Bicycles, to appreciate it.
One minor caveat. It’s so big that you need more than one visit to really appreciate it, but if you want to leave, after say an hour, it’s hard to find the exit.

We went to see community service. Really fun piece and fantastic performance. The environment and stage set up was quite informal and creative. I quite enjoyed that. It made me feel closer to the performers

The building itself reminded me a lot to a big cinema

I visited here with my family last Sunday, primarily to experience the bird show as this had been recommended. I have never seen such an amazing show in my life. The 'presenter' was incredible. Just the right amount of info (with comedy) pitched perfectly for children and adults. The accompanying music was beautiful and all the birds behaved extremely well, despite temperatures of 24'C! Well done.... (if I could give this more than 5*, I would). Thank you again.

A fantastic 2.5 hours with my 4 yr old granddaughter. Awesome to see the sea otters and the penguins and lttle one was amazed to touch a starfish and see a seahorse! There was definetely more to see so a return visit is on the cards! All the staff we interacted with were really good; the talk about the otters who were separated from their parents and are relocated in Birmingham was very moving. Rachel, with whom we chatted for ages about the penguins and then later in the VR suite was utterly delightful.......very child centred and fun. Very good value with an adult and preschooler ticket in term time on week days!
I was glad that I went for opening time as (and this was the only reason for 4, not 5 stars, was that it did get a bit busy for the 4 yr old later in the morning

Amazing building, worth a visit. More than just a library, it has (at the moment) a tourist visit information desk on the ground floor, (very helpful), to the secret garden on the 7th floor, to the reconstructed 19th century Shakespeare room on the 9th floor.

Trip was a birthday present for our 7 year old grandson. 3 generations of Villa fans who all thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
Our guide, Keith, was outstanding. He successfully involved us all and was good company for the two hours we were there. Keith was very knowledgeable and illustrated the tour with a good balance of many interesting historical facts and humorous stories and personal anecdotes.

We visited the museum having seen it advertised during Coventry's City of Culture year, but only managed to get there this year. It is small, but packed with interesting artefacts and information. It's not all just 2-Tone stuff, although there is a reasonable amount of that, but it also has displays dedicated to other Coventry artists. I was especially pleased to see a display commemorating Coventry born Delia Derbyshire. The entry price is very reasonable and the volunteers on site were very knowledgeable. Well worth a trip to Coventry to visit.
