Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Ellie KBirmingham, UK595 contributionsWe had a lovely and relaxed drink at Brewdog, the ÂŁ5 cocktail tasting for 2 is a bargain. The staff were friendly, the vibe was nice and relaxed, and I loved the indie & alternative music playing (some of my fave bands were on including Wolf Alice, The Wombats, and The 1975). We also loved the wall of polaroids of dogs and their names, so cute!
The cocktails weren’t very good to be honest - the mojito and espresso martini tasted like cheap versions (even though it is usually £9.50 per can!)
We would recommend the cocktail tasting deal because it’s so cheap, but stick to the cocktail bars if you want a proper cocktail.Written 25 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The staff were knowledgeable and welcoming, and from start to finish it really came across that their focus was to ensure we had a good day.
The day was structured well, but at no point did we feel we were constrained or pushed to hurry up when we'd stopped for something to eat or drink. Our guide, Mark, was very knowledgeable of all aspects of the brewing process which made our trip informative, and he also gave all of us an opportunity to get involved whenever we wished. Sanjay and his team in the bar were very attentive and really went the extra mile to make us feel welcome.
Our day included breakfast and lunch, which went far above expectations in terms of quality and quantity, and our individual tastes as to our drink of preference were accommodated throughout with a recommendation on what to try.
We felt welcomed and engaged from start to finish and would recommend the experience to anyone looking for an informative but relaxed brew-day experience.Written 31 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
