Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We have 2 boys aged 2 and 5 years and we visit every few months. We always have a really great time. Lots to get busy with, my boys move from one area to the next with great excitement. “Mini land” can be a little frighting for some children. Quite loud and the room goes into darkness on occasion. I’m in the habit of taking head phones and my eldest has some sensory issues.

The staff are really friendly. I spotted them on a few occasions chatting to my children about what they had built.

The coffee shop is very expensive. I made the mistake of not brining a drink. £1.80 for a small bottle of water. I won’t forget my drink again!

My main issue is the soft play. It is absolutely disgusting!!!! Thick dust all over the place, all over the dead spaces, all over the slide. I was horrified to find my kids playing in that environment. Please, this has not been cleaned in months!!! Please get it cleaned!!!!

    Over all, positive.

    Easy to locate.

I went on a Sunday, and parked on the street nearby. (I couldn’t find the car park)

    Friendly and welcoming staff.
One man in particular was very attentive to my 4 year old. Providing her with wall challenges and encouragement.

The café is reasonably priced. Ice cream is available to purchase as well as ice lollies.

The climbing walls are great with different levels and challenges.

I paid extra for the leap of faith activity. My 9.5yr old live this!

    Would 100% return and recommend.

My friends and I (group of 9) visited their location at The Cube on a Friday night having prebooked various activities in advance via their website.
The staff were very friendly and drinks service was prompt and efficient.
The bowling was good fun. No tech issues with the lanes as can sometimes happen at alot of bowling alleys. Games were enjoyable and nicely air conditioned.
    Beer pong was good fun.
The karaoke room + tech was very good but the room itself was a sweatbox. Just way too u comfortably hot. They need to invest in decent air con for those rooms.
The toilets at the venue were clean and accesible.
Overall, we had a great time here and would happily return but maybe avoid the karaoke unless they fix the heat issue.

The absolute best time! Great staff and great
Location. It was brilliant from start to finish. I fell over (twice, two left feet) and everyone insured I was looked after and that I could still join in. Thanks guys!

    🦸🏼‍♂️🦸🏻‍♀️Friendly helpful staff

🍔🍟Food is ok but I feel the quality could improve.

    🎮Xbox with Rock Band

    🐘Elephant memory game

We had a great time today at The Geek Retreat. We met new people played Xbox & a memory game. This is about as much as children can get involved in as there isn’t many board games or items to purchase. We asked the staff if they would look at having a book shelf with board games to lure a younger crowd in. They said they would look into it.

Would return as our 5 year old enjoyed his time there. And definitely if they had more board games for us to play.

We also went for the Pokèmon tournament/community as our young un is getting into collecting the battling cards. We wanted to learn how to play but felt that there were a lot of people busy and no one to teach us. Although a gent did offer to teach him/us, but he was battling so didn’t want to interrupt his enjoyment. But as I said we shall be back.

Need to vacuum under the sofa and dust peeps...😉
