We had our second visit this year and I'm always highly impressed with everything about this place. It's brilliant and well worth a look around. Cannot recommend enough.

This was excellent. A real boost of nostalgia. Staff were super friendly and really interested in my comments. Could have spent too long here walking down memory lane. Some of the exhibits I really didn't know happened in Coventry, like Delia Derbyshire who recorded the Doctor Who theme. Never knew a film was made about her either.!!!
Coming from the Two Tone era in Coventry and being back in the City from New Zealand it just brought back how musically creative the years of 1977 to 1985 were in Coventry. The place just buzzed at the time. I am so privileged to have been around at the this time.

The signage in the main areas is a bit tired now and could do with a brush/clean/wipe down as some parts were hard to read. The place itself though was fantastic and well worth a visit. Just ensure you have a smart phone to hand for now...

We decided to visit here as we were not far away. There is a good sized car park which should be ok to find a space on busy days and is a paid car park which is probably reasonable. There is a hotel and restaurant further down from the car park.

There are maps dotted around the grounds so you can see when you are and where to go. There is a building just over from the car park with toilets, some cafes and a couple of little shops etc in which is ok. The grounds are quite big and is a good walk with open fields and woods. There is some ponds which have ducks, geese, herons/cranes etc. There is an adventure park called 'go ape' for kids, there is a small play area near to the buildings with shops which is currently closed as they are refurbishing it. There are deer and sheep in some of the fields.

Overall this is a nice place to visit, it is good for a good walk or cycle around. Good place to spend a few hours in good weather. There are places to have a picnic, there are cafes in some places on the grounds. It would be good if the buildings were more aesthetically pleasing . Car parking is quite big.

We stopped here before checking into our hotel in Coventry, easy to find with the sat nav.

Very interesting video to begin with we watched about 30 mins of it, hubby would of been happy to sit there longer and watch the whole of it, amazing that Frank Whittle invented the jet engine, but it was America who actually mass produced it. Germany took the jet engine for their V1s and V2s in WW11.

Lots of planes to see outside including a Valcan Bomber, there is also a shed that restores planes and helicopters, nice to visit for a couple of hours, plenty of picnic tables, as well as a cafe and shop, parking right outside

A real find! Free to enter and a variety of exhibitions. A good overview of the history of Coventry on the ground floor but the star attraction at the moment is the Daniel Lismore exhibition. I knew nothing of him and it wasn't why we went to the gallery - but it was amazing. Very different to what you normally see and great credit for putting on such a thought provoking and amazing display. Anyone interested in costume and design this is an absolute must - catch it while you can. Nice open and well stocked cafe. - not much of a gift shop.

An amazing day out and a first for me! Saw a Reed Bunting and a Yellow-legged Gull as my new species.
What a day! I will come back here soon some time for definite, as it has hides a cafe, a visitors centre and amazing view over marshes, reedbeds and lakes. 5/5

Love so many things about this place including the festivals and other live music. I also love the fact that its a real community hub, with great places for kids to play, nice cafe (when it opens again) and lots of people on Sundays picnicking, playing football and cricket, etc

Stunning medieval guildhall with free entry. Worth a visit with the cathedral next door. Some interesting archaeological finds on display as well.

A fitting statue to one of Coventrys most famous people from centuries ago. This is one of a number of things in the city commemorating the famous naked rider. Good story behind it

After reading my own booking times wrong, the chap with the beard behind the booking desk, and also the manager, worked hard to put my mistakes right. They were well withing their rights to turn me away, but they were simply awesome and sorted out my problem within minutes. Really great work!! The new smaller B2 theatre is amazing, just a great experience from start to finish.

In the village is a small micro brewery. The drinks are vegan and very reasonably priced. It was a very pleasant way to spend a sunny afternoon. We had cider which was delicious1

Visited Warwicks Arts Centre to see Russell Kane in action. Great show. Parking was easy. Had been before so found our way from the car park to the venue with no problem, however if I had been on my own I would have appreciated a few more directional signs to Butterworth Hall (to aid my poor sense of direction!). There was some redevelopment work going on when we visited which probably had an impact on the bar/cafe/seating area as we felt that this area could have been a lot better - more seating and tables or areas to stand and rest glasses. It is a great venue for seeing acts and music.

Coventry is a great place for shopping. The market is indoors but still has a traditional charm and lots to see and buy.
