Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Nikki M1 contributionFantastic session with Daniel! Even though I wasn't the strongest of cooks, I felt completely at ease and enjoyed the session throughout. Everyone was super friendly and I will definitely be coming back!
If you've been thinking about going, stop thinking about it and just give it a go! ☺️ (Just be sure to bring some containers to take your yummy food home) 🍜Written 13 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. All the children engaged well, the session was very well organised and the atmosphere was great. Loved that they baked from ‘scratch’, the results were impressive. We will be back:)Written 10 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Mark GBradford, UK18 contributionsFabulous session. On mediteranean cooking & food. Shown how to make Focaccia, then made Parmigiana. Finally made a delicious Tapenade to have with the Focaccia. Great instruction, very clear & welcoming. Very tasty recipes. Leaned lots and enjoyed the experience thoroughly.Written 29 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Tanya R1 contributionGifted my dad the Indian Cooking masterclass for his birthday, and he absolutely loved it. The dishes we made were incredible and Dan was really attentive, talking us through all the steps and being very patient with us. The ingredients were all really fresh and good quality, particularly all the spices we used. Dan was great at accommodating our preferred Indian dishes as well as showing us new ones that ended up becoming new favourites. The whole afternoon was a great experience and made soo many different dishes that we then took home for the rest of the family to try.Written 28 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - barbara jHarrogate, UK14 contributionsThis tour was a present for my husband and I, we didn't know what to expect, there were 4 other people there which added to the atmosphere, we were there for approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes, the young man in charge of the tour, who actually owned the brewery was very friendly and answered all our questions some of which may have seemed a bit naive, but he took them all seriously, we were offered a choice of 🍸 when we first when in,which were very pleasant, all through the tour we were given samples which were very pleasant, I was converted to drink the occasional rum which I never did before, and I would certainly recommend this tour to anyone.Written 29 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Val T11 contributionsI bought this as a birthday present for my friend and it was such a fun experience. I learned a lot and tried some good gins - I know which gin I am buying for Christmas now! Everyone was friendly and our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. - Luci22YorkYork15 contributionsWe did the bobble hat bake but had booked to make a Gingerbread House.
Hugely expensive, £40 each to bake a cake in a team of 2! Staff are uncommunicative, rude, unhelpful. Minimal ingredients, minimal cake decorations, minimal fun - don’t botherWritten 7 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
