A really enjoyable hour spent with our tour guide who was great fun and presented her stories wonderfully. I've lived here for 20 years and still learnt lots of intriguing things I never knew about Otley. - Dreamer27634745034Toledo, Spain2 contributionsReally, really enjoyed the afternoon - met Linda our host for the tour outside Queens Hotel at 11.45. We were 4 friends but there were also other people on the tour with us which just added to the enjoyment. Linda was a great host, very informative about Leeds architecture and history and also great fun - we visited 7 venues some of which were just a tasting/snack but also got lots of food in other places - all were independent who were passionate about what they were doing - I certainly had enough to eat. There are no drinks included on this tour so you have to buy any alcohol you want. There is a little walking around the city so wear comfy shoes. We visited the Chilli Shop which I personally loved and they even created a special gift for the person whose Birthday we were celebrating!! It was such a nice touch.
I would do this tour again without a thought, it was a fab afternoon and I can’t wait to get another group together. It was good to have a guide recommend restaurants as you can become quite overwhelmed with options and gave us good ideas for future trips out. It was also lovely to spend time with other people on the tour and get to know them. Once we got to a place, there was no information and it was hard to figure out how to use it or where to go to next. - Tumhari S1 contributionThis was a total waste of money. There were no queues to jump when you got there before 10 so there was no benefit.
