Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- 917SaraLeeds, England, United Kingdom7 contributionsWhat ab amazing place to have a party. The instructors were fantastic. They were so good with the children and made the day run smoothly & made sure they had lots of fun. We did slip and slide and go karts. All the children loved it. Great hot showers after and a lovely room to eat party food in. We would love to come back!Written 23 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Traveller162014Leeds, UK1,683 contributionsGorgeous bit of greenery in the heart of Chapeltown. We came to play some tennis in the park, for free, without needing to book. On a sunny evening, the park really did look quite beautiful and has an interesting elevation with an almost V-shaped valley, the sight of which left me fascinated. It was wonderful to see local youths engaging in activities like basketball, rather than hanging out on their smartphones.Written 18 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Emma HLeeds, UK4 contributionsMy daughter and myself took my grandson last week on arriving my daughter asked if they were still serving food time was 1.20 a reasonable time for lunch. She was met with a rude reception the lady saying yes but we’ve got limited stock. We sat down and on the two times that I went to order was met with a frosty reception. I’d love to know which charm school they went to 😂😂 . We will return as my grandson loves it however we will eat before we go.Written 23 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 15Dee78Doncaster, UK132 contributionsIt’s ok. £9 pp to get in and £8pp for the high ropes.
There’s an obstacle course, high jump pillow, sand pit, mini golf, wood building, several swings and slides , a water fountain and a small lake that you can raft on. Plus the high ropes which is additional fee.
We arrived at 1030, short queue to get in. We did the obstacle course, lake , fountain and swings in the first 20 minutes. Then we went to the high jump, there’s three levels and you have to jump the first one correctly to progress to next one. Our son did the first one fairly quickly then a massive group came in so queues got worse. He queued about 40 minutes in total to do the next two.
Then it was time for the high ropes we got there about 5 minutes early and it was rammed. Queued to get equipment on then queued to hear safety talk. Took about 30 minutes just to get on the stairs to start. Again massive queue on the stairs and for some reason if a person gets to the top and changes their mind everyone has to go back down the stairs and start again. This happened three times. By which point my children had been waiting an hour and still were not near the front. My son who’s autistic got very distressed and had to leave the high ropes. I spoke to the manager as obviously an hour plus wait for a pre booked event is poor. The manager was lovely and offered us a quieter time to come back and try again.
We bought lunch it’s quite reasonable £7 for burger chips and drink. But it’s not nice food, I’d take a pack up next time. Lots of seating indoors and out. Lots of toilets too.
We then did the sand, Den building, slides, mini golf . By this point it was 2pm so we went back to the high ropes. Totally different experience only a few people going on. Took less than ten minutes to get up there. Our son loved it and had a great time. Toby was fantastic with him, very patient and kind. Because it was quieter he did both levels in about 30 minutes
We went back to the swings and slides then had an ice cream (lots of choice) and left about 3pm. So nearly 5 hours in total, probably would have been about a hour less without the first high ropes attempt.
There’s also a sweetie station and gift shop.
I’d say to avoid queues id go later in the day (around 1pm) and do the high ropes at the end of the day.
I also feel non participators should not have to pay the full price. £9 is quite reasonable if you are using the facilities, less so if you are sat on a bench.
The high ropes is quite tricky, I’d say if under 8 or your first time having an adult or older sibling to support would be helpful. Our son struggled a bit and he’s 9.
Staff are lovely and a real credit to the place.Written 27 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
