Cwm Idwal National Nature Reserve Bethesda
#1 of 3 Nature & Parks in Bethesda
The walk around the lake is easy and the views are typical of the outstanding views common to Snowdonia National Park.
An fantastic place, best visited out of season to appreciate the peace and beauty, the walk from the car park can be icy in the winter months and requires care in traversing.

Great place to stop before and after the walk up to the nature park.

Llyn Padarn Llanberis, UK 7.5 mi away
#1 of 2 Nature & Parks in Llanberis
Spent a day at Padarn Country Park, which is home to the National Slate Museum, the old miner's hospital, the Padarn Lake railway and the SCUBA school at Vivian quarry!
The lakeshore has been carefully sculpted and presented, with many sensibly-placed car parks, play areas and pathways near the town - then merging into more 'natural' bays and 'beaches' around the shallow lagoons.
