Very interesting place, full of history, it's amazing to see ye olde buildings from many years ago. I thought the food was just a little pricy, I paid £15+ for just 3 sandwiches. Definitely go again , best time is around spring time when the gardens start blooming

This is an amazing castle. We recommend adding on the 50 min tour for a full experience (£4) and access to special ornately decorated rooms. Our guide, Gareth was fantastic. He did a great job of showing us all the intricate details of how each room was designed. Their is a lot of history here from ancient Roman times to now. You can enjoy the Cafe, which is situated right next to the ancient Roman wall, making for a unique experience. This a must visit in Wales.

Wow what a tour. Was fantastic to go behind the scenes and learn of past experiences.

Been on this tour previously but during covid, so the tour was limited.

Our tour guide Ken was such a great guy, WRU need to bottle his enthusiasm & energy, and sell it. He made the tour extra memorable for us.

Beautiful building, evolution of Wales and natural history sections interesting but in need of updating with more scope for interactive exhibits. Cafe and Oriel restaurant both disappointing - no food in the Oriel restaurant just before 12 and no menu in the foyer restaurant with an odd display of sandwiches with no descriptions. There could also be better signposting as to what’s on near the main entrance.

We went to see Jesus Christ Superstar on opening night. The show was amazing but the stars of the night were Gaynor R and her manager Dylan. Nothing was too much trouble and Gaynor pretty much looked after me all night making sure my disability didn't hinder my experience.

Large park right next to the main city attractions.

One can simply take a short stroll, while we decided to make it a 10km run out and back. It was a great way to get out and see the natural beauty, just outside our hotel.

A definite must do if visiting Cardiff.

Went in not knowing what to expect. Parking was smooth and plentiful opposite the building. They try to push the Q car park on the website with a 15% discount, I understand this is a lot further and probably pricier than parking outside.

There are 2 floors with lots of activities. We went during Half Term with a 5 and 2 year old expecting it to be heaving. There were plenty of kids about, but there is so much space that we were never waiting for too long.

Personal highlights: rocket launcher, hurricane simulator and the big screen with dinosaurs walking among us!

This was truly a great day out, we didn't get a chance to do the planetarium as it was all booked out, so will take the kids when they are a bit older.

This was an easy bus ride from Cardiff city center to Black Lion, then a quick walk to the cathedral. Stunning architecture inside and out. If you’re lucky the organist will be practicing and you can sit and enjoy the beautiful acoustics they have. It just felt very peaceful inside and I sat for a while and just took it all in. lovely little town as well.
