Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Suffered Sciatica pain for past 6 months. Most recently had a flare up of the sciatica nerve which led to painful and uncontrollable spasms and made it impossible some days to walk and carry out normal day to day tasks. GP prescribed range of medications which came with unpleasant side effects and still in pain 4 weeks later.

My sister researched and booked me a complimentary appointment to try massage method. Had two sessions so far and it has been fantastic! Relaxing and healing experience and have had the most pain relief from these 2 sessions than 4 weeks of pain killers alongside posture improvements and good preventative measure tips that actually work! Phillip very informative, has excellent knowledge and very professional!

Will be continuing treatment and highly recommend to anyone suffering with any type of chronic pain.

I thoroughly recommend the fire and ice activity with Mountain Yoga. This experience was split in two parts - the first part was yoga and relaxation in the studio with amazing views of the surrounding mountains. The instructor was knowledgeable and patient as I attempted to be as flexible as I possibly could be. The relaxation segment was wonderful and so calming - definitely some snores in the room as a result!

The second part of this experience was the fire and ice bit and it fully lived up to its name. We started out in a canvas tent with a fire in the centre and talked about breathing techniques. Then it was time for the first ice bath for 30 seconds. We then scurried back into the warm tent to learn more breathing techniques and exercises to warm our muscles back up. This time increased to 1 minute, 2 minutes, 3 minutes…by the time we got to 4 minutes we had embodied the breathing techniques so successfully we managed to stretch it to 5 minutes instead!
After each plunge in the icy water, I honestly felt like I could take on anything thrown at me -it felt amazing!
I had the best afternoon there and the breathing techniques and resilience techniques learned there have been used by nearly all of us following on from this!
If you’re on the fence about this activity, take the (icy) plunge!

I’m currently doing stage 1 at pole twisters and I absolutely love it, the teachers are so lovley and extremely helpful and uplifting and absolutely amazing at pole. The studio is amazing. I’ve enjoyed classes so much I’ve decided I would like to do all the stages. Highly recommend this place !!!

Came here last week for a work do and it was a good laugh. Drinks reasonably priced and bowling lanes are fairly private and good value (but strangely short!)

Afterwards you can visit the arcade where there are dance machines, boxing machines, toy-grabbers, shooting games and more. You can get alcohol, food, slushies or milkshakes from the bar, and it's pretty fast bar service. There are also pool tables and air-hockey tables, however the pucks got lost at some point and it took ages to retrieve them.

It's a bit of a hidden gem. Decent size but hidden out of the way. It's a good atmosphere though and not too cramped.

THIS PLACE! THIS PLACE! Is the best in the UK by far for its treatments and service. I have longed to find somewhere so close to home and so perfect. My massage therapist was Gina and she trained for many years in Thai. Her work is professional and she really takes her time to understand YOU and your body. Please don't go here if you're after some fancy pretentious massage, only go here if you want a superb massage.

Moving onto the facial, Gina again toom her time and used a multitude of gels and creams and finished off with an oxygen glow. It was perfect.

I feel like Gina and the WCC has got it all!

Thank you so so much and I cannot wait to return.

I trained up for my first 10k run in Cardiff, Oct 2014, and loved it so much I did a second one in Nov, at the Cardiff Mo Run. Donna was a big part in pushing my fitness on in 2014 with her advice on stretches, where I was going wrong in my training technique. She is extremely professional, approachable and I'd highly recommend her.

I found this gym whilst working away in Cardiff and couldn't believe how different it is to other gym's. The owner Owen was great and even give me some pointers on my lifting. Will be using it again next time I am back is Cardiff

    Wow, I love this gym.
Lovely warm welcome by Anna Reich, I haven't felt so relaxed and comfortable as this in ages. I loved the way every bit of training advice was bespoke to me. No BS just straight forward quality information. The gym is located on beautiful Cathedral Road ground floor of a beautiful building, car park to the rear and disabled facilities.
Can't wait for my next session.
