Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Durks65Hereford, UK453 contributionsDecent little ground to be fair, far better than previous ground, clean tidy and plenty of space in the concourse areaWritten 30 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - solar flareCardiff, UK28 contributionsVindico Arena: great venue, comfy seats, and plenty of space—ideal for watching the Cardiff Devils do what they do best. If you haven’t seen them play yet, trust me, you’re missing out. They’re an absolute blast to watch.
Now, the Cardiff Devils shop… it’s a cozy little corner packed with all the merch your hockey-loving heart could desire. Unfortunately, there’s one downside: the male staff member. Helpful? Not in the slightest. In fact, he seems to have mastered the art of being unhelpful in ways that should be studied by scholars. It’s like he’s actively trying to set a world record for “Least Assistance Given While Present.” Honestly, I’ve had more productive conversations with a vending machine.
But hey, still worth popping in—just don’t expect any customer service awards coming from that direction!Written 11 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Will definitely be going back.Written 30 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- angela mNewport, UK45 contributionsmy husband and grandson went to see Cardiff city v Liverpool on easter sunday parked in shopping centre opposite and got a £90.00 parking fine, so when they were going last week to see Crystal Palace went on the inter and found you could book a parking space, so I booked. It cost £5.30, they keep a space for you and when you get to gol centre they give you a £5.00 voucher to use against a drink or food so you park for 30p well worth a visit for home or away fans.Written 7 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - William V2 contributionsVery helpful staff. Rachel found and washed up a glass so I could have some water from the fountain, found me a pump for our football, and then, when I cut myself on that, found me a plaster too. Much appreciated.Written 15 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- GWalshCardiff, Wales, U,K13 contributionsThis weekend we held a children's birthday party at YMCA Plas and cannot praise the team and facilities enough. From our first enquiry until packing away, nothing was too much trouble. My family and the other guests were blown away by how spacious the hall was, it came with plenty of balls for football and basketball. Being a chilly January day, extra heaters were put on for our arrival and we were offered use of their speakers. Love the fact that I could pay cash (helps me budget better than card) s another benefit. Everything was so clean. My only regret is that we did not book longer as a 2 hour session requires a 30 minute tidy away at the end, plus we allocated 15 minutes setting-up time. I had feared that the class of youngsters would be bored and asking to go home approaching 75 minutes but they were having so much fun they all wanted to stay longer.
It is a short walk from Cardiff city centre or the district of Roath and when warmer, you can enjoy the adjacent MUGA and park. It is close to bus routes and the free parking can be accessed off City Road by turning between the Wetherspoons Pub & betting shop. Plus the YMCA Plas had more availability of sessions and was cheaper than our closer alternative venue. My child said it was their best football game ever as the YMCA also provided a pair of goals (unlike the rival centre). Thank you so much!Written 22 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Max was my welcome host, checked my Assessment of Risk, completed online prior to visit. He made me feel welcome and was very informative and encouraging. Then I met Dan my instructor/coach for the next hour, great guy, great coach very encouraging and full of positive enforcement. I learned loads, and have been back since where I ran into Max and Dan again, had a nice chat with both, there's a really nice culture in this place, good to see families there as well. I might have been bitten by the climbing bug, partly due to to these two, lol, cheers and thanks again, see you soon.Written 25 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Steve FCardiff, UK13 contributionsVisited pool today. Good swim in the adult swim lane, despite noisy kids and frequent beach balls entering the lane. However, on returning to male changing room, I encountered a few extremely noisy teenagers using filthy language and attempting to vandalise the place. They were upsetting younger children who were visiting. They were warned to behave by both a visiting adult male and a member of staff, but I think they should have been removed and banned.Written 14 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Clare BBridgend, UK48 contributionsBooked before Christmas for my sons party. He is football mad.
Booking was simple.
When we arrived, the building itself looks very shabby and tired.
I went to the desk to inform we had arrived and to pay the remaining balance.
I was informed as soon as another member of staff arrives we could get started.
No balls were provided whilst 10 kids ran around on a pitch.
I got a ball from the boot of my car to occupy them whilst they waited for the coach to arrive.
Went to the bar to get hot drinks.
Only had tea and coffee, despite the list of hot chocolate, latte etc. But they had no milk.
Again had to wait whilst the staff member reluctantly went to the shop.
11.30 the party began.
Food came, was fine. But cleared our table with the kids drinks on too quickly.
Assume it was because they had another party in.
Not my concern they started half hour late.
When they did get on the pitch the balls were not pumped up enough, so they had to get others.
Most of the kids left earlier as they had been there since 11.
My son enjoyed aa he was oblivious to the other issues.
Such a shame... Maybe as a gesture of good will a free ball to compensate. Could have been offered??
Poor organisation and customer service overall.
Sadly doubt we will return.Written 18 January 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It took him real courage to get out there and meet new people; and in Fluidity, he met a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and was treated like family. I love this place, as a parent. Such amazing people of all ages, encouraging eachother to progress and have fun. The friends he's made here are awsome, and for life. Thank you Fluidity for being such an awsome, positive part of my sons life!!Written 28 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
