Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I had an exceptional experience with Michael and David on my recent tour. Their expertise and enthusiasm added a unique flavor to the trip. Michael's knowledge of the area and David friendly demeanor created a perfect balance. I highly recommend their services for an enjoyable and memorable tour.

Ok first thing I have to say is we were lucky - visiting the causeway in February could be a wet windy and gloomy experience, but we had a beautiful fresh spring day - windy and chilly but with blue skies and sunshine.
2nd point- I had heard the stones are not as large as you might expect from how some of the videos or pictures might display them, knowing that before I arrived meant I was not disappointed but rather very impressed with their beauty and remarkable form.
We could walk far out on the stones take time to admire the Irish Sea and its crashing waves while looking back up at the hills and its pointed peak.
Finished off the experience walking back up the walkway and into ‘the nook’ for a pint of Guinness before taking our bus back to Belfast.

Had a great tour with Paul last week. The whole small-bus idea is terrific as you aren't waiting for a huge coach-load of people to get on and off at every stop - something you could see on the other coaches when we were at the Giants Causeway. A really good day and great driver/guide.

The Titanic Belfast Experience is most definitely a focus on the people of Titanic - the people that designed it, made it, worked on it, travelled on it, died / survived the disaster and then the team that found it. It is a very emotive place that with its tasteful design, respect of everyone linked to it and the ambience they have created through sight and sound takes you on a real journey through time. The building itself is spectacular and in stark contrast to the old lady walking distance away, the SS Nomadic. Both beautiful in their own way.

A fantastic experience, and one I definitely hope we return to as there is so much to learn and take in.

Very insightful tour and expertly guided through by Steve. Good pace and never felt too rushed or dragging. Well placed coffee and toilet break as required. Very useful history at the start to provide context. Easily identifiable and accessible start and end points to carry on further exploration. Thoroughly recommended for both avid historians looking to top up their knowledge of specific events and those keen to learn for the first time.

    Wow
Every bend, every dip or rise in the road brought out a wow as our driver can contest too.
Lots of stops for photos and stopped when safe to do so for special photo requests.
Well worth the money and lost all track of time with the splendour of the Antrim coastline.
Lots of local history told by a local Irishman.
We had great weather in February. Avoid the congestion of the busy season and go before April.

A must do if you’re 60 years old. Need to have an idea of what the murals mean so look on Google before you go. Tour takes 1.5 hrs.

We were stopping over in Belfast for an afternoon on our way to Dublin. We did not have any set plans and found this walking tour. Admittedly neither my husband nor I knew much about these events (they don’t necessarily teach about it in America), but we had visited Derry and did a self guided walk looking at all the murals and we were interested to learn more.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and found it to be one of the most intriguing and eye opening things we did on our holiday. As an outsider to the country of Ireland and only seeing limited images of these conflicts, neither of us realized that there was still an actual wall with gates that divided the two communities.

We feel extremely honored to have heard both men share their experiences with us and truly will never forget the time we spent with them. A lot of what was shared was hard to digest and hear, as it parallels so much of the oppression and suffering we see in the world today, but we left the tour hopeful that both communities can continue to move forward together.

This might not be top of your list as a “fun” activity, but I felt it was one of the BEST things we did despite the difficult content.

During our trip to Belfast in November 2023, I had booked two private tours with Robert, from RM Executive Transport. We were a group of four adults, and the pricing for a private tour when shared between four people was comparable to a group tour, but far, far more enjoyable.

Robert was endlessly helpful with the planning and organising of our tours. Because they were private, he was happy to change his standard tour, which had quite a Game of Thrones theme, to something more suitable for us. For us, seeing coastal towns and in particular the Giant’s Causeway, was the highlight. We also wanted to see the famous Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, but not actually cross it, due to time and leg injury issues.

Robert arranged the whole thing to perfection for us. He kept in constant contact with me, so I was never concerned about the day. He picked us up right on time at our hotel in a very comfortable large van. This meant that all four of us had a seat with a window for the sights and lots of space for all of our things.

Robert was a fount of knowledge about Northern Ireland, which is exactly what we wanted. We had lots of interesting discussions about all sorts of things during our day, which enhanced the experience markedly.

He started by taking us to the pretty town of Carnlough, then lots of driving along the sensational coastline and through other small towns. He drove us inland a bit. The autumn colours were incredible! I’ve never been to New England in the autumn, but I doubt it could beat this. We walked up to a lovely waterfall over the Glenariff River which we would never even have known about without Robert.

Next was a lookout near Ballycastle where we had the requested great views of the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge.

Finally came what we were was so excited for, the Giant’s Causeway. It was sunny and not even particularly cold, just slightly chilly. Perfect conditions. We all managed to walk the whole way down and back up, without making use of the bus. It was simply incredible, everything we’d hoped for.

Lunch was in the town of Bushmills, then we had a photo stop at Dunluce Castle as it was too late to tour it by then. We finished the day at Bushmills Distillery, reportedly the oldest one in Northern Ireland. We did a tasting of a number of Irish whiskies, which unfortunately I did not enjoy. Some of my companions certainly did though, so they were happy to finish what I could not!

Robert also had a surprise in the car of cans of Guiness for us all to try, again not to my taste but it certainly was to the two men in our group.

Robert dropped us back at our hotel after this wonderful day.

The next morning, he arrived again for our half day tour. We started with a visit to Stormont, which was closed so we could only take photographs from outside the gate.

The tour continued with visits to the murals, the Remembrance Garden and many other sites.

I highly recommend booking a private tour with RM Executive Transport during your visit to Belfast.

The four days tour is well complete but guides vary greatly in Quality. Quigg was absolutely excellent for the day to the Cliff of Moher and Galvay , others from others days were Closer to organisers and not great guides although they made some efforts, they were missing context and a little short on explaning their trips. The day in Dublin is conceived as a DIY and was even missing an organiser, so not Bad but could certainly do better.....

We joined the tour in Belfast. The driver was friendly and had a great sense of humour. For the price we paid it was well worth it. For anyone else joining at Belfast we were picked up to the side of the Europa Hotel in a big green signwritten Paddy Wagon. Great day :)
