Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were in Belfast for a gig and had some spare time so visited on the Saturday afternoon and I’m glad we did . There is obviously loads of history , not all of it good but I was very impressed by the way the visit / tour is set up . It was engaging / interesting and worth doing . There are interactive parts which were good and worth taking the time over . Well worth a visit .

Situated around the Cathedral this is quite the Arty spot to enjoy.

A relatively small area but defined by some great street art, a whole range of Architecture and many places to eat, drink and shop.

Great day spent on the Irish FA Tour at Windsor Park. My son loved sitting in the teams changing room as well as getting to pitch side. But I think the penalty kicks was also up there.Gary our tour guide was very friendly and informative as we moved the stadium.

More than a quarter of a century after the end of The Troubles, Belfast remains a sharply divided city. The Peace Wall’s mere existence is evidence of that, dividing Catholic and Protestant sections of the city.

My friends and I had a terrific time at the Stormont Parliament Buildings. I found every single staff member to be extremely friendly and helpful, whether it’s was the security staff or tour guide. Our tour guide Yasmine was spectacular, very knowledgeable and made the tour that bit more interesting. We especially liked her knowledge of the current politicians and past political history. We found the rooms to be pristine and well kept and the additional resources dotted around and handed out to be very interesting and useful. It was also a simple and efficient process to book and we appreciated the parking being free too. Thanks for a great day!

We had a drive around the Shankhill area with our taxi driver before being dropped off at the hotel, lots of new murals since we last visited with the one of King Charles & a lovely one of the queen, still an area of intrigue with the political backdrop it has.

This was an interesting castle, more for its history than architecture. Not a regal castle as one would expect in Europe. Worth a visit.

I remember in the 80's growing up aware of the Troubles in Northern Ireland. I remember hearing of a man in prison who was called Bobby Sands and that he went on hunger strike. He was not the only prisoner who was on hunger strike but he seemed to be the one who everyone was talking about.

I remember hearing news reports that he had died and that was the end of that as far as my pre-teen brain was aware.

Many years later and I got the opportunity to visit Belfast and I was determined to visit both the Falls Road and Shankill Road areas. I am very glad I did as it was good to get the two sides to the history of what went on in the Province.

Following the Good Friday Agreement peace has been restored and it is an opportunity for investment into the area and prosperity. That said it is important to remember the past so I would recommend a visit to the Peace Wall and also to Shankill and Falls Roads.

On the side of one of the buildings on Falls Road there is a mural to Bobby Sands and nearby there is a Garden of Remembrance to the people who lost their lives during the conflict.

It's definitely a good place to visit to get more information about the history of the area.

A very interesting tour of the cemetery with two guides who were clearly very knowledgeable (even though the lead guide was just leading his first tour of the graveyard!). Lots of intriguing stories about the people buried there and a very peaceful atmosphere despite the busy road just outside the gates. When the rest of the stones are recovered from the bushes and brambles, it may well be worth a second visit to find out more.

We visited streamvale for a date night experience on the 1st August 24, adults only 16 years plus and my god we had a great time! We got to hold chick's, play with puppies, pet and feed horses and donkeys and cows, watched a bird of prey show, got a ride on a tractor, watched a sheep dog display, melted marshmallows by your own wee firepit while being entertained by live music and tasted some ice cream made at the farm while having a go on all the kids stuff too.... Streamvale what a great evening we had! Hats off to you all great idea! Staff wer all Lovely, the place is so well run! We will defo be back for another date night!

Had booked to see Simple Minds and also got the upgrade to the SSE lounge, which was a complete waste of time, we arrived and there was a big queue at the bar and no seats anywhere to be seen. I walked out and the bar across from it was queue free. Speaking to the person on the door they told us it holds 54 and that there was 35 in it at the present time. A complete waste of time, I’ve it booked for UB40 in November but I’m not going to bother as it wasn’t worth even bothering to go into. Great venue though, concert was amazing. Shame the SSE Reward lounge wasn’t.

Probably the major traditional educational institution in the region. An impressive campus for the visitor with some massive and lovely buildings, lots of green space. If you have the time, it can be a good short visit.

It is one of the big sites downtown, and the biggest church in town. We walked past on our way to and from lunch and noted how it towers over the immediate neighborhood. An important landmark.

Highly recommend the IFA tour. Really enjoyable day with my son and grandkids. Very informative and good fun. The kids enjoyed the penalty kicks. The stadium tour was excellent didn't think I would ever get a chance to walk out the tunnel at Windsor Park
