Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I had read a lot great reviews about this place and it definitely lived up to its reputation. It was extremely comprehensive in its coverage of the Titanic. It was very well done with a variety of A/V exhibits. I was told that it would take about 2 ½ hours to tour the facility and they were right.

The only issue I had was at the beginning for the exhibits about Belfast and the Industrial Revolution. I found it difficult to determine in which order you should see the exhibits. Other than that everything was perfect.

After visiting the Titanic Experience (which I highly recommend) we went to see The SS Nomadic which was a sister ship of the Titanic - The outside of the SS Nomadic didn’t reflect that inside it had so many original features after its major revamp. Its history as a French cafe for a good while makes it hard to believe it’s now looking like it did in 1911. We were told that those involved in its refurbishment had worked tirelessly to bring it to Belfast. Noel and Owen, the guides made us very welcome and also provided more information for us about the SS Nomadic - including that it had brought 120 passengers to the Titanic for its inaugural launch of its voyage from Southampton to America

Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. Would definitely recommend it. It was amazing to actually be on board an old battle ship. Our guide was a weath of knowledge and told us many stories of life on board a navy battle ship. If you love history then don't miss out this tour on HMS Caroline

To those in the know, the Linen Hall is a must-see on any visit to Belfast. Hiding in broad daylight, it is only seconds away from the hustle and bustle of the shopping centre of Belfast. And yet, there it stands in quiet grandeur, far from the madding crowd.
Go in the side entrance to see artwork that has a powerful story to each piece. Enjoy the buzzing cafë or ensure you try and go when some cultural event is taking place. Best of all, ask the excellent staff for help and see that well-known Belfast hospitality to the fore. Judith must be singled out for her sunny disposition and helpfulness. A real treat - spoil yourself and make sure you enjoy some quiet time in style.

This is a good whisky shop to visit. If you are into whisky. They make their own brand of whisky as well as selling other more well-known brands of Irish whisky.

An amazing experience from start to finish - great staff, clean, not too crowded despite it being a Sunday and so interesting. The short ride half way through was great (not scary or fast) and all the displays and information boards were brilliant. It was incredible to see some retrieved artifacts (including a pocket watch which had stopped at the time the ship sunk). We spent about 3 hours and found it great value for money.

The experience was great. Started off very well but on exit , learning the fate of Titanic , display info about the Titanic makes you feel sad. The small car journey inside was really nice. people who like ships really would love to know the history of the Belfast shipping yard and about H&W. Had food at the PANTRY restaurant, great food. for the entry price, you should spend lot of time reading the displays, watching the videos. plan for a good 3 hours minimum.

This art gallery is free to enter. I called in with friends. Lots of rooms with paintings by different artists. Two sculptures really intrigued me. One artist had made these bizarre tubular, long legged dogs (see photo). They were textured and coloured like beagles, but were so surprisingly contorted. Elsewhere someone clever had woven, crochet-style, two balaclavas. They're normally black and menacing, covering the faces of paramilitaries, so this was a startling culture clash - the brutal meets the delicate, force meets finesse. Very interesting. I like to take note of artists' names, but we only arrived near closing time, and had to hurry on. I plan to go back for a better look.
