Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- fionaalfaBelfast, UK72 contributionsLovely space for a quick stroll, great to pair with ulster museum. Palm house is a must visit spot. Tends to get very busy during the warm weather, including lots of young people from nearby schools and uni.Written 25 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - VoyageVogage123Bangor, UK169 contributionsWe were in the area, so stopped by for a picnic lunch. For people who aren’t local, it’s good to know that there is an Upper car park and a Lower car park. The Upper car park is handy for the rose gardens and children’s playground. We parked in the lower one, where the cafe is. And where the trails seem to go from. If you want to get to the rose gardens and house from this car park, take the path at the cafe, heading back up the road towards the upper car park. I rated it 4 stars because I think it would be helpful to have more signposting. We ended up on a bit of a mystery tour, but will be able to orientate ourselves better next time!Written 13 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Melissa FoordAustralia744 contributionsThe first thing the locals told us was that 99% of the time there will be a bird perched a top of the memorial. I have a bird in my photo. Lovely memorial area beside City Hall. Lovely gardens and a plaque with all passenger names.Written 12 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
