Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- jeffrey bBangor, UK145 contributionsUse the Belfast to Cairnryan ferry all the time it's a brilliant service hardly any delays in comparison to flying. The ship has is spacious and very comfortable, loads off facilities bars ,restaurant, children's area and cinema bars, cafe ,stena plus and a duty free shop and a brilliant pet lounge.... the only downside is the quality and price off the food in the restaurant its terrible they can't even get a breakfast bap right there are a few kids clearly under pressure trying to serve a packed ship ..Written 10 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - iamfaceCardiff, UK1,762 contributionsThe ferry, that is big and comfortable. staff also nice. i dont take any room or upgrade but just stay at common place but so far ok for spending 8hrs to belfast.
However, pier in liverpool & belfast is a bit trouble esp for overnight ferry and reached Belfast at early morning that no bus(or super confused where is the bus stop) direct to/left pier.Written 9 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It was our first time on the ferry and wasn't a bad overall experience, but it did have some notable negatives.
The deboarding took on foot passengers an extra 50 minutes from after the cars had left due to there being a single decker bus to get passengers from the ferry to the terminal and there was enough people for 5-6 single decker buses, this was a shambles and no one told us what to do or where to go, and we had to be out of the Cabin 30 minutes before arriving in Belfast too so had to go find somewhere to sit.
The TASTE restaurant was very expensive for what you got and the staff were not happy to be there at all. it was ÂŁ2.75 for a normal bottle of Pepsi.
Not ID Checks and very limited security checks, which caused a bit of security concerns for our 9 hour journey.
The wifi on board was super slow and doesn't work in the cabins including the paid services. You get around 250Kbps up and 150Kbps down.
Unless you NEED to go by boat, id recommend flying unless the you have bags, as we took to large suitcases with us with our hand luggage at no extra cost.Written 20 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There is a choice of an escalator up from the platforms below, or stairs, or a lift I've never tried. There's an artwork high above that no-one ever seems to look at, and war memorials that did have me stopping to read the names, Lots of staff about if you need anything. The name baffles me; Lanyon designed beautiful buildings, while this place is a brutal box of ugliness.Written 12 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ewerk1Belfast, UK155 contributionsBus was clean and on time. No messing about with airport security, just get on the bus in NI and get dropped off in the centre of Glasgow.Written 27 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sam HoustonAustin, TX98 contributionsAbsolutely fantastic experience with Belfast Black Taxi Tours! Our driver and guide, Cecil, was outstanding—personable, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. He welcomed us with warmth and expertly guided us through Belfast’s complex and tragic history, sharing compelling insights from both sides of The Troubles. His storytelling made the past come alive, leaving us with a deep appreciation for the resilience of the city and its people. This tour was both educational and emotional, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Highly recommend—Cecil is a gem!Written 8 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Kelly J6 contributionsWe worked with this organization under the name of Prestige Tours. We cannot say enough good things about every aspect of our experience with Prestige Tours. Prior to our arrival in Ireland, Michelle was helpful and responsive to our every question and concern. And our driver Peter was simply a delight! He was friendly, thoughtful, and incredibly well informed. It was clear he took great pleasure in sharing his beautiful country with us and we were delighted with his stories, his professionalism, and the fact that he seemed to know everyone in Ireland! He lived up to all the reports of the friendliness, humor, and joy of life of the Irish. We added something to our plans at the last minute and he was great about setting up the new activity and rearranging our itinerary to accommodate this change. We feel like we have a new best friend in Ireland! If you want to really experience all the best of your trip to Ireland, we highly recommend Prestige Tours! We will be calling them again.Written 8 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- nowvoyager9Belfast3 contributionsThis is an amazing company providing excellent services for wheelchair users. Travelling is always a challenge but this company has an excellent website that was easy to navigate and is run by a very experienced and friendly driver who understands the importance of safety and comfort. If you’re in a wheelchair and are needing transportation in Belfast and require assistance and comfort and dignity at a fair price this is the company for you. Notice for booking is required but because you must pre book your journey you get a first class service.Written 21 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Barbara157Belfast, UK3 contributionsI have used Belfast Mini Coach for a number of years and most recently for our 2024 Christmas Party event. The 3 drivers were excellent on the night and very kindly accommodated a few extra stops to ensure people arrived home safely. A big thank you to Gary Morrison for coordinating the bookings and dealing with a few changes along the way. Thanks to Gary and the team for their excellent service and patience on the night and for taking great care of us. Until the next time, thank you. Highly recommend Belfast Mini Coach.Written 3 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
