Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Umabdulrahman a42 contributionsA small museum contains kinds of ships, boats and sea tolls, nice to have a quick look.

Gorgeous exterior and even though it’s been updated, you can see the nod in their internal decor. Had some food, Grant in the kitchen certainly knows what he’s doing! Live music, DJ, brilliant bar staff, James was fantastic as he had a MASSIVE order!! Lovely experience to be a part of, will be back when I’m visiting Aberdeen again!Written 29 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - alibatty🦇Dundee, UK20,673 contributionsIf you’re in the area of Old Aberdeen , or Seaton Park , then I recommend you make a visit to this historic Gothic old church, built in the 12th century. It’s situated on the site of a former church, believed to have been founded by St Machar - who was supposedly sent here by St. Columba from Iona. Obviously since then, the building’s undergone much in the way of major renovations and restoration. The stained glass windows are beautiful, with 5 pre-Raphaelite windows designed by Daniel Cottier in the 19th century. An organ installed in 1890, was constructed by the foremost organ-builder of the Victorian era, Henry Willis. A detailed ceiling of panelled oak contains 48 heraldic shields. The church is staffed by friendly volunteers, and the atmosphere is amazingly serene. Taphophiles will be in their element in the adjoining graveyard .Written 4 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Anco MAberdeen, UK751 contributionsWe have lived for years in Aberdeen and this has been the first time we visited the Aberdeen Art Gallery. The building is lovely inside with a nice shop and a couple of decent cafes. We went solely for the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition on the second floor. Hence, no observations on the art work, other than that the special exhibition was excellent.Written 16 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tracey M1 contributionWhat an amazing trip we had to the Science Centre, there are so many amazing things to see and do, from solving puzzles to activating a robot, my son has autism so I was unsure how he would get on, there was a wonderful young man on the reception desk who was so helpful, he told us where everything was located and explained that they had a sensory area should my son get overwhelmed, in the sensory area they even had noise cancelling headphones and fidget toys that if needed could be taken round the centre during your stay, I have never been in an environment that was so inclusive, they really have thought of everything, and my son loved it, cannot rate highly enough, will definitely be backWritten 6 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mary JEdinburgh, UK7 contributionsWe attended the opening night this was the fourth time I have seen this show and each time it has followed a slightly different but up to date script. Last nights performance was simply fantastic, from the set, graphics, acting, singing and most importantly the music, it was superb. I've never seen His Majesties Theatre come alive like that, a brilliantly exhilarating experience so well done to everyone involvedWritten 18 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - smiler1956Birmingham, UK610 contributionsTook my Granddaughter to a friends birthday party at the Children's indoor adventure park. 90 minutes of mayhem for the kids, but great fun. Unfortunately there was very little supervision from staff, the parents being held responsible, but unfortunately some "responsible" parents were not ensuring their kids kept to the rules! The café had a good but expensive range of snacks. The meal provided for the kids, was a little rushed, and some children did not get the opportunity to finish their food. The décor could have done with a little updating and cleaning. I don't think the canopy over the serving area had ever been dusted! Anyway, the kids had a great time!Written 25 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ri Ri SpringbettAdelaide, Australia328 contributionsWhat a fun place! A really well kept park (we encountered several workers maintaining the park while there) and not having to spend a cent!
We all really enjoyed a big walk around the place, the playgrounds, especially the slides, and the garden they have next to the cafe is really cool to see, highly recommend you go in!
