Signal tower museum excellent place friendly staff plenty of activities to keep kids happy staff really helpful even pointing out where the lighthouse was on the horizon.
... agreed it was one of the best kept and interesting museums we had been to- our four year old loved looking for the items on the scavenger hunt, and the displays were interesting for adults and children alike.

Get your kids on Kerr's railway or even if your just a couple for fun!
The miniature railway is one of the top attractions in Arbroath and has been a family favourite for many years.

Love Indy, Family Friendly Cinemas -- Love Chalmers!
What a great place to watch a movie, nice atmosphere, comfy sofas with a good view of the screen The whole family enjoyed it, much better than the large chain cinemas.

We visited here recently on two different occasions, once for an afternoon to take full use of their 'unlimited ride' wristband, the second to let the kids have a bit of time in the amusements.
Good old family fun
Barry Mill Carnoustie 7.7 mi away
#2 of 8 things to do in Carnoustie
The miller who did a fantastic tour complete with a fascinating history managed to engage both ourselves and the children, they spent the full 2 hours listening and learned so much.
The two staff, Ciaran and Mirren were really knowledgeable and friendly, they were so good explaining everything to our two kids, age 7 and 5 and letting them help with starting the waterwheel.

Great walk around the park with interesting items to see and encourage children to look out for various fun items dotted around the walk.
Bliss for dog walking, very good for running (saw young mothers running with sturdy baby-buggies) families with children and bikes, adults biking and many picnic tables.
