- Ryan W6 contributionsMy partner and I recently took part in a charity night hike up Ben Nevis to raise funds for the MS Society. The event was handled absolutely superbly by Jim and his, clearly passionate and dedicated, team. Their enthusiasm was infectious and the motivational advice they gave on the mountain was invaluable.
Special mention has to go to our mountain leader, Monica. She was absolutely superb and went the extra mile for us. My partner struggled terribly with her boots on the descent, on finding out they were the same size Monica offered to swap boots to see if that would help. It made all the difference, my partner made it down safely and in much less discomfort. Monica stayed with us all the way, never making us feel like the burden we thought we were, her words of encouragement were a massive help.
