Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It's the same as any leisure park - you've got a Maccie Ds, a Curry's, a TK Macks, a few coffee shops, FiveGuys, and that sort of thing.

However as they go, it looks rather nice with some gorgeous wood panelling decoration above most of the shops.

And indeed most of the shops have lovely staff and look clean and well kept.

However avoid the Starbucks. Messy and extremely slow service. It just had a feeling of 'CBA' - for example the sliding doors were broken but why bother fixing it when you're at one of your busiest times of the year?

    Sigh.

Visited today, it was freezing! Quite like that it is airy and high ceilings as doesn't feel too crowded. The shops we did go into, the staff were friendly and approachable - that said, we didn't enter many shops as need big bucks to spend lots of cash here :-)

Plenty of toilets, they are on every floor. There are eateries downstairs, a Starbucks at the entrance.

We like the fact we could walk straight out of the centre to Multrees Walk, then a short walk to St Andrew's Square for the Tram.

We will likely visit here again the next time we are in the area.

Not really a shopping centre to be honest. Just a collection of several shops on one floor of the train station (plus a food court below). Still a couple of high end shops and a small Sainsbury's.

We attended this event last year, and it's on our top five places to visit in a few days. Primarily because the young ones can't stop talking about their experience with the bungee dome, interactive theatre and treats. Us adults sampled almost all the diverse foods and it's debatable whom had a better time, safe environment with pristine view of the Castle, the organizers are to be commended for this festival that really gives great value. Great place to shop for unique craft, jewellery etc as well. Live bands daily

Went to buy my birthday but ended up buying a pair of 18hole Victorian leather boots for my wife.
The sales member of staff (Fiona, she deserves a mention by name) was absolutely fantastic.
Fiona was professional, understanding, exceptionally helpful and a pleasure to meet. Fiona's customer service is second to none.
Thank you for such a pleasurable purchase.

We had been recommended to use the restaurant for the view over the Firth of Forth, and indeed that was worth seeing - however, the same cannot be said for the breakfast. There was nothing 'Scottish' about the cooked plate, other than lukewarm, tired bacon, a cheap sausage and tired pale egg. I wondered if the elements of the breakfast were form somewhere else than Waitrose, as the quality was poor, with the exception of the toast which was good. I think next time I would stay in town at one of the excellent cafe options. Incidentally, the roof terrace garden was not a credit to the store either, with bedraggled plants needing attention. Avoid, as noted by other reviewers.

The worst store in Edinburgh. I recently booked an appointment and after climbing the stairs with no access to a lift at 8 months pregnant waiting around for 15 minutes I approached a member of staff who turned out to be a manager to say no one had checked me in. He then was deliberately awkward and unhelpful. He asked me my name which I gave then asked me the name it was under which I could not understand. I then advised I didn't think he understood me. I approached a different member of staff who referred me back to him for him to tell me it was my fault I wasn't checked in when the shop was clearly understaffed and that I had now missed the appointment.

It is clear to me apple as company are only interested in taking your money. This staff member need to be restrained in basic customer services
