Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Having been over the top of these bridges it was an awesome experience to pass under them. The size and strength of all these crossings is out of this wall. Truly breathtaking

This is a lovely and impressive bridge, leading into and out of Edinburgh.
We drove across it several times during our trip in the area.

This bridge is in the center of town, linking old with new. It is an elevated street that features a lot of important buildings. Lots of tourists all around as it is in the center of most of the tourist attractions.

I only experienced this stunning site from the air, while approaching Edinburgh airport but we were low enough and the day fine enough to get a spectacular view.

I understand that it’s one of the longest railway viaducts in Scotland.

Having been lucky enough to experience the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct in the Highlands a few years ago, I would still rate that my #1, but Almond Valley is right up there.

So when walking the part of the canal called lochrin basin you will come across this "lift" bridge. I say lift as I've rarely seen it lift up but it still does as I have seen it lift. Somebody has to use a control on the side of the bridge to get the bridge too lift up. Also there is a barge here that sells coffee and snacks. Even if you don't get too see the bridge lift there is places too siy and watch the barges come up and down the canal and you're be a stones throw from the city about a 5 - 10, minute walk from the lift bridge

This is a stunning bridge in a stunning location along the river almond walkway. Beautiful and peaceful, a sanctuary in an otherwise hectic city!
