Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Tour (Jack) was great and quite knowledgeable on the Conan Doyle/Sherlock Holmes tour. We had a short snafu on the initial meet up, but it was quickly remedied.

Definitely a must do for any Sherlock Holmes fan

This was a fun scavenger hunt app that took us to some parts of Edinburgh's Royal Mile that we might have missed otherwise. We learned some random things, followed some fun clues, and it was a fun way to explore the city! One suggestion is to bring a spare power bank, just in case.

Great fun. It's become a family tradition to do a mystery trail around cities we have visited for the first time, as it helps us find out lots of places and facts that we wouldn't have found on our own. This was our second Killer Trail and we thoroughly enjoyed it - the puzzles were a good level of challenge and we had fun finalising the details over a well deserved meal at the end!

Due to the Christmas Markets in Edinburgh the first two puzzles were not possible to answer, with temporary changes and signage blocking the views. We reported this and WCT refunded us immediately.
We've not had a complimentary one for another city offered to us, which I would have expected for our inconvenience - but I did appreciate the swift refund.
