Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- AlanLondon_UKLondon, UK714 contributionsSpendidly gothic building, housing an eclectic but well curated collection of art. Organ recital every day at 1pm. Dali, the Glasgow boys and some excellent modern African piecesWritten 19 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Colleen GSaint Louis, MO43 contributionsEveryone enjoyed this museum from the teens to seniors. My father in law especially liked the classic car collection. All forms of transportation represented and well cared for. It’s free to visit but donations recommended. We spent about 1.5 hours.Written 14 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- bmac987Hamilton, UK36 contributionsAlways a great day out at the football, the food is always of good quality and the match day experience is fun for all of the family. Would recommend a trip to Paradise for any visitor to Glasgow.Written 16 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - nobodytoknowGlasgow, UK195 contributionsMaybe not the most cheerful of venues, but interesting to see the memorials to the great and the good of Glasgow. - HighlandLass24Baltimore, MD240 contributionsWe only happened upon Buchanan Street coming out of a Christmas Market. We were using Glasgow as our base in Scotland, but had not hear of this area until we entered it. I wish we had discovered it sooner, as the architecture was lovely, there were plenty of shops and food and unfortunately, we had just eaten. If you like shopping, this seemed like the place to go. It was lively, even on a cold winter day and if we had the chance, we would definitely come back for a look around.Written 17 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jordanellie41Longridge, UK1,216 contributionsI started my tour of the University grounds from University Avenue where the car entrance has next to it a beautiful pedestrian gated walkway complete with arch and the University arms on each gate. Turning right I walked up the hill alongside the main building which is full of beautiful architecture and numerous stylish windows. To it's front the grand design continues with lots of arches, steeples and glorious stairways. As you keep walking round, the architecture gets better and better and culminates in a large single steeple complete with turrets, balconies and amazing multi coloured brick work. The only downside to this magnificent building is it's condition. The harsh Glasgow weather has not been king to it and it needs a good clean. However, this is probably not practical given how long it would take to do and how costly too!Written 28 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Trail6040181 contributionAs a birthday treat my wife booked the Tennents Tour. As a lifelong Glaswegian the Tennents Brewery was there and always had been but I had never known much about it though knew much about its products. What an amazing walking tour led by Calum who was able in an informative, descriptive and humorous manner give a history of the Wellpark site from 1740 its products past and present and its place in history. The pint of Tennents tank lager at the end was a welcome and fitting end to the tour. I will never sink a pint of Tennents again without thinking of the tour and Hugh TennentWritten 19 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The check in was smooth and I pre-paid for the parking at the time I booked the tickets and parking gets validated on entry (inside by a staff member) so no need to do anything on you way out.
There is cafee on the ground floor but we didn't get anything at the time.
You can also bring your own lunch as there is specially dedicated room with tables and sits - no booking required.
There are also lockers available.
We enjoyed the experience on the top floor the most - science about human body etc.
There is dedicated section for under 7's.
We also managed to see the show but it wasn't as enjoyable experience as such.
It is a shame the weather was rather uninviting as the surrounding area seems nice just for a walk - maybe next time.Written 1 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Colleen GSaint Louis, MO43 contributionsWe visited here to see the Highland cows. We had been in the Highlands and saw them from the car but there was never a good place to pull off and really get a close look. I am so happy we stopped here. Lots of cows, many close to the fence.
Also seems like a very nice park. If I lived in Glasgow, probably would run and walk there.
We parked near the museum and walked a short distance. Parking required cash.Written 14 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
