Nearly impossible to get tickets for really big acts. Close to Kelvinbridge underground. - BocGlasgow, UK13 contributionsWonderful venue. Saw band Kuna Shaker there and a great local band, whose name escapes me. First time venue for me and it was quite central. Clean, spacious, a few different bars scattered throughout the building and great staff throughout. top quality and a great laugh.
It was disappointing that there were only three acts on the night, rather than four, which is, or was, the norm at the Glee Club.
This three act show was punctuated by two intervals. Given that the show, in my experience, always starts later than scheduled, it feels like you spend a lot of the evening just waiting and surprise, surprise, buying more expensive drinks at the bar than you anticipated.
The Glee Club does need to be careful. They have a great location and super polite and friendly staff. Staff all very friendly and attentive and the meal was great.
