We were very lucky to have a small group, just the four of us, which I suppose is one of the benefits of taking the tour mid-week in February. Our guide, Stephen, was wonderful, showing us various sights and telling some of his own personal anecdotes about his experiences in Glasgow. Unfortunately we had to cut the tour short as it overran the 1.5 hours and we had a bus to catch but rather than a criticism it’s a positive as the tour really wasn’t rushed and Stephen took plenty of time to talk at each of the stops and in between. The tour isn’t designed to be particularly in depth so I’d recommend it at the beginning of a trip to Glasgow to allow yourself to see the highlights then decide on which places you want to come back and spend a bit more time at on your own.

I recently took my friend and girlfriend on the Gothic Glasgow Walking Tour, and it was fantastic! Having a guide who is so passionate and top-notch at their craft is a pleasure to watch. I would recommend anyone visiting Glasgow to do this tour; it's a great night out with friends and family. - Steve the vet

This is very belated review but Johnny's tour was amazing! Full of history, small fun facts about the local lifestyles and insights. I also appreciated the fact that he was making sure if everyone follows throughout the tour. Although we could visit many places, the tour itself was very well-paced and I didn't feel tired which sometimes happens to me with walking tours. I learned a lot, thank you Johnny :)

This is probably one of the best walking tours I’ve ever been on. The guide was a resting actor and he delivered a fantastic tale of history, culture, comedy even places to eat. Loved every minute of it

I highly recommend the Stadium and Museum tour even if like me you don't know much about football as there is a section with concert memorabilia. Our guide Paul was fantastic and very knowledgeable. Please allow a couple of hours for the tour as the museum is massive and the cafe is well worth a visit.

Good fun, a mixture of questions, images and riddles so something for everyone. Also I learned a bit about Glasgow and some of its characters. We took around 2 and a half hours but had a lunch break in the middle however I reckon this can be done in around 90 minutes so not too long. An interesting and fun way to spend some time in Glasgow.

I did the tour in my mobility scooter on the basis that the tour was accessible, as it was described. Unfortunately it wasn't accessible. At the first stop, the cathedral, we were asked to go inside, and walk down the steps inside!. Not a good start. The next stop was the necropolis, which was reached down a long cobbled street. My bones were well shaken by the end of the street. The tour then climbed to the top, with the commentary making clear that it was a difficult climb for able bodied people. We did not attempt it, but retraced our steps up the cobbled street. We moved on from the cathedral area, only to find on our route several examples of kerbs which were not “dropped”, and which I could not cross in my scooter. I was forced to cross these roads on foot - which was difficult, leaving my wife to manually pull my scooter across.

You are clearly not responsible for the lack of dropped kerbs , but you are responsible for describing the tour as accessible, which it clearly wasnt.

Finally, for the last 5 to 10 stops, we could not get any commentary.

Can’t recommend this trip enough. Had the best day with Gillian wandering round the West End. Learned lots about Glasgows history and tasted some wonderful local produce. Will definitely return to the venues we visited. Thanks Gillian.

We did the dark side of Glasgow tour with our guide Lauren. It was a fantastic tour with lots of interesting facts about Glasgow that I never knew. I can’t wait to book another one in the daytime.
