Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A great highlight of my time in Glasgow was to take a Rabbie’s Tour of the Scottish Highlands. It’s a full day but it never felt long. We were in a comfortable 16 seater bus and our first stop was at Loch Lomond. We traveled up further into the Scottish Highlands with the absolute highlight being the spectacular Glencoe Valley. On the way back we stopped in the beautiful fishing village of Oban for lunch. Highly recommended for a great taste of Scotland.

We did a lovely loop of City Centre with Katrina. Architecture, history lessons, restaurant recommendations and prizes! All good fun!
I highly recommend booking a walking tour.

I spent the holidays in Glasgow and this was a perfect day excursion through the highlands, Loch Ness, Ben Nevis, Pitlochry and Loch Lomond. Mr Forrest, the tour guide and bus driver, was both very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. The photo provided was from an impromptu 5-10 minute stop by Loch Lochy with the low clouds. Mr. Forrest even provided a good single malt recommendation. If you have a free day, I highly recommend.

This tour was incredible from start to finish. We had Graham leading the group who was unbelievably knowledgeable about the past and present of Scotland and kept us very entertained with facts, stories and music.

There were so many opportunities to take amazing photos and down in the landscapes of the highlands. We made stops in lots of photo points with plenty of toilet breaks. This was a great trip for anyone wanting to see lots of areas of the highlands in one day.

The Loch Ness cruise was good however it was extremely busy with lots of people, making it a little difficult to see much of the Loch, however the boat had a sonar system and a great presenter which made it very worth it.

The only downside is around 80% of the day was spent on the actual mini bus so there is a lot of travelling- over 330 miles! There wasn’t much time for lunch so I would recommend packing food and lots of drinks and snacks. We were never bored though as Graham was pouting out monuments and landscapes as we went along with funny Scottish songs and stories. The seats on the bus were spacious and didn’t feel cramped.

It was great going in the winter as you could see through the trees to see all the lovely lochs and mountains. I would definitely do this trip again.

Excellent tour! Tour guide was very nice. Only suggestion was give a little more time for pictures. Also tour guide walked very fast and started talking before whole group caught up.
    Nevertheless a Great tour!

Highly recommend seeing Glasgow through the eyes of a local tour guide Johnny who knows and loves the place.

I have been visiting family in Glasgow many times, however learnt so much on this tour. The history, the culture and local recommendations. From the founding of Glasgow to present time. You are directed to architecture and art you may otherwise miss. You see inside places locals love and get an understanding of the life of the people.

A must do when you visit Glasgow.

Joined an amazing, detailed and entertaining tour today and I have learned and retained so much!! Very grateful to have attended.

Bruce is very clearly devoted and passionate about the lovely history of Glasgow and really engages participants in animated stories and facts.

I do wish there were a few more opportunities for questions and maybe even possibly a couple of provided binoculars for us to be able to see some aspects closer - eg. the statues atop the Royal Chambers

My mum found St Mungos cathedral and the murals most exciting whilst I enjoyed the arches behind the royal chambers and learning about the royal infirmary, it was a shame that we, personally, had to leave early but it was the only time we could fit in the tour on our trip and didn’t want to miss out !

Would definitely recommend if you want to enjoy the sight-seeing of a gorgeous city just that little bit more, alongside develop your general knowledge.

Like any tour, it’s only as good as the guide and ours, Stuart, was fantastic. We had a small group of 12 on the tour in a van that fit 16, which really personalized the experience. I know they have bigger fleets so maybe call and ask the size of the bus before booking if this matters to you. We did the Loch Lomond/Stirling Castle tour and he gave relevant history about the area, fun facts and played some great Scottish songs between talking. It was raining torrentially and extremely windy and he maneuvered the small winding roads tremendously well. Nobody wanted to do the boat tour due to the weather so we stopped in Luss instead. This was my favorite part of the tour as we still got to see Loch Lomond but also walk a quaint little village which I throughly enjoyed. It is worth asking to include this stop on the tour vs the boat if everyone agrees. We had to skip Aberfoyle due to severe flooding up to our thighs but he let us take photos at a smaller spot little bit up the road which was great and the drive through the Trossachs is stunning and plenty of time at each stop. Stirling castle is an additional cost ~£16 per person, but I thought it worth it. A fantastic trip and great driver/guide!

Our tour guide is Karis. She’s really good at multi-tasking. A very skilled driver and a fantastic story teller in a soothing voice who is also very humorous as well. I really enjoy the 3-day tour while making a few lovely friends. Definitely will recommend to my friends.

Our dealings with Rabbies was exceptional from start to finish!

Communication was excellent, we booked our accommodation through them which was great. They also arranged with our bed and breakfast to have gluten free breakfast for my daughter who is a coeliac.

Our tour guide/driver, Andrew, was amazing!! Very professional, told us lots of interesting stories and played Scottish music or songs to do with where we were in between the chats! He was an excellent driver and made sure we were all ok at all times.

The unexpected snow event played havoc with our plans for the day but plan b was put into place and we had a fantastic day out.

Throughout the tour we stopped at lots of great places and there was always the right amount of time at each stop.

Can highly recommend this company, we would definitely use them again.
