Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A very nice and quiet place, with beautiful stained-glass windows ! We were lucky it was sunny outside so we could better appreciate the beauty of the place.
Would highly recommend to spend some time alone or with your lover.

Visited this place in a wet Wednesday afternoon. What a find! The volunteers who had endless time to talk to us seemed have limitless knowledge of the building, the stones and the history of the place. Well worth a visit!

Visited this weekend for Glasgow open doors and found the place fascinating. Our tour guide was great and had plenty of knowledge about the building and obviously Islam itself, unfortunately one of the people on the tour was a bit rude with the questions he asked but our guide was extremely patient with him and done himself proud. Everyone was very nice and welcoming would love to come again.

We had such a great day here today. The cathedral and its grounds were beautiful and I was able to photograph so much of the architecture for my nerdy theatre design friends. The stained glass windows were STUNNING.

My friend and I visited this beautiful synagogue last week. Our guides Sandra and Deborah were very friendly and informative, explaining the history of the building and even playing a recording of the Cantor of the synagogue. This, we thought, along with the sun shining through the beautiful stained glass windows brought out the profound spirituality of this magnificent building . A lovely experience!

Iconic building that's been brought up to the current time. Has a nice cafe, some Christian paintings, and a welcoming air. Great for a stop in to see how a church has been modernized.

St Vincent Street Church is located west of the city center . It was opened in February 1859. The building was designed by one of Glasgow's most famous architects, Alexander Greek Thomson. The constituent parts of the building display different styles, with a typical Thomson Greek temple placed alongside an exotic clock tower which shows more oriental influences. Beautiful building.

I was in the area and like old churches so I walked over. It's a gothic looking old church but it doesn't really measure up as a place to go see.

This is a lovely mosque and Carrington street, very easy to access if you are staying near by in Hill head. They have regular 5 times daily prayers, they have two Jummahs, it was at 1:30 and 2pm while we were there in July-August. You can see their website: http://www.alfurqanmosque.com/index.php and get prayer times for the whole year. A great place, well maintained and have regular activities/lectures for the family.

This little Catholic parish church in right outside the Barras flea market and though from the outside seems totally unremarkable and a bit run down, the interior is unusually beautiful, with a high green and wood beams ceiling, an altar with striking white reredos and some colourful modern glass windows.
Absolutely worth a visit if you are in the area - but this is obviously a very active and beloved place of worship so be respectful.
