Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a brilliant day out seeing this stunning building. Plenty to wander around inside and great for history. Shame that it is closing its doors for four years due to refurbishment. Definitely would highly recommend it well worth another visit when it opens up again.

A free museum inside Glasgow University and run by the Uni.
It was ok, mainly science/natural history/anatomy etc based.
For us, the 4-star is a bit generous.
It is worth a look if you're in the area/or have a special interest in the things at the core of its collections/or if you really love museums and want to leave no stone unturned. But if time is limited, I'd definitely devote it to the Kelvingrove instead...

Fabulous tour led by the Museum Curator Lauren. Lots of facts and fun information with access to all areas, followed by a lovely afternoon tea. If you haven’t been would thoroughly recommend it. A wonderful part of our heritage. Well done Lauren and team

A hidden gem in the centre of Glasgow tucked away inside a functioning hospital! You can see how much care and dedication has gone in to putting this informative and inspiring exhibit together. Made me very proud to have worked here!

How lucky were the kids who went to this school designed by the great Charles Rennie Macintosh. Absolutely stunning architecture.

Impressed at how well they have done this. A great and interesting description of what an important role the yard(s) have played since the site was first established. Staggering how many and different types of ships have been built over the years.
Staff were great and very knowledgable about the yard and the local area.
    A hidden gem.

We had both done the tour about 25years ago but wanted to do it again and include the museum. We were not disappointed, it was fab. Very informative. Make sure you have enough time to get the most of the museum.

We visited Provan Hall via the Doors Open Days in Glasgow. This beautiful building is in the East End of Glasgow (Easterhouse), next to the Morrison's supermarket but, when you enter the grounds you are transported back to the middle ages and it's hard to believe you are in the outskirts of Glasgow.

We arrived slightly late but, luckily the tour hadn't entered the building yet. Our (voluntary) guide, Andy Middleton, was dressed in medieval costume, which really added to the experience. Andy was very enthusiastic, and had a wonderful knowledge of the architecture of the building, the characters who had lived there, and the local area. It's quite a small building, but there is so much history associated with it that our tour took around an hour. At the end of the tour Andy showed us an album of pictures of the property throughout the years, and took his time to answer all of our questions. Outside of the walls of the building there is a lovely garden, which has been landscaped.

Unfortunately, the weather was really rainy and windy that day but, despite that, we had a lovely time and plan to go back when the weather is a bit better.

I was given a tour by a wonderful volunteer, who was very knowledgeable about the building and the people of Maryhill. A real hidden gem. Especially liked the stained glass depicting the industries if Maryhill. Such a beautifully restored building, more people should visit!

Springburn as loads of history. I was born and grew up in springburn and it's changed in so many years. The history of springburn is amazing! Now it's gone down hill sadly. The shopping centre doesn't have many shops. Shops open and close down. There are people who fight school kids being rude etc... It used to be a great shopping centre when I was younger. It needs to be up dated. They have shops like farm foods a nice cafe b&ms card factory but apart from that nothing else really.
The sports centre is good and always busy and there are hair dressers dentists chemist doctors etc.... But from wed-fri that's the day where the area is mostly busy and you need to be extra careful. It's basic for people who are local and who don't want to travel much.

It's like any other areas good and bad points
