- Michael H1 contributionHad a brilliant time! Went with my niece on a 12-2 session on a Sunday. She brought her own skates and I hired. Great skates, great service and attentive staff throughout. Free protective gear also. Was a good crowd but also ideal for beginners taking their own time. Cafe was ok . Parking is very limited but could park on near by streets. - nobodytoknowGlasgow, UK178 contributionsI attended the UCI World Championships on a hospitality package, so had access to the glass-fronted lounge in addition to seats in block DD. First off, I spent most time in the lounge as I found the velodrome very hot at 28°C, there are water points which people were making good use of to top-up water bottles.
The hospitality experience was very good, giving a great view of the track from the lounge plus large-screen TVs to watch while eating. The food was excellent plus there was a complementary bar and very helpful staff. The free WiFi was speedy so all in all a 4* hospitality experience.
Outside the Veldrome itself, there were some fast food outlets and vending machines for drinks. Also merchandise stall but they're probably only for the UCI events.

There are bars & eating outlets & the team is constantly aiming to improve the match day experience.

The waiting time to get served was bad.In saying that she was one Woman serving, with another cleaning table's etc. But the price for a sandwich 🥪 Scones etc were stupid. - BigBlaInverness, UK89 contributionsWe went as a group for part of my daughter's hen party. Everybody loved the 2 hours we spent there. Many thanks to Rudolpho for making it so much fun. We did the hoop, trapeze and silks and everyone from little skinny chief bridesmaid to not so skinny Mother of the Bride had a ball doing things they initially thought there was no way they could achieve. Renewed admiration for all those that do these circus skills on a daily basis though as from young to old we were all exhausted and achey the next day. Slide is for older children, but our one year old loved the little waterfalls. Take a pound for the locker, and a card to pay to get in. No need to book online. I opted for the Premier because apart from inviting folks and turning up on the day I had to do nothing else, they took care of everything! The party room, the football coach, drinks, football cake, party bags and contents etc. It was completely stress free. The events host was there to greet me and make sure I was ok and given limitless coffee and could just take photos and relax. The football coach Erika really handled the boys fun and games well and she gave them the best fun possible. The party food was great and they deal with any special food preferences.
