Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Climb the steps and you have a great view of the city. Take the lift and you get an alternative perspective. The Mackintosh exhibition is very interesting with models, time lines and furniture, there is a cafe and a shop too. Lovely staff made the whole thing even more pleasurable

XXL thanks to Librarian Clare Thompson for her superb Arts Festival Talk on this historic figure , one of the first 'War ' Artists ever.
So inspiring it was that next day I went up to the second floor of Provand's Lordship to view the many reproductions of his Glasgow Scenes.
Also need to praise the Fergusson exhibition on the ground floor- a fitting tribute to a great Scottish poet.

Great feminist lending library and educational center in east Glasgow. We are here for several days from Seattle USA and Vancouver British Columbia and a stop here came highly recommended. A bit of a walk in the rain for us but very educational and super friendly staff… just felt great to be in this space….

This is a pretty good venue and I especially like that it is in the river and easy to get to by bus or bike. They've got next bikes too, so all in all pretty good.

We stopped by on a whim to see what souvenirs were available because we didn’t like the ones in the other tourist shops. Skip the other stores and go here for souvenirs! Much better quality and more interesting by far.

Expensive for what it was - poor choice at breakfast for the cost of ÂŁ80 for us both. Very underwhelmed by the whole experience

This central station is very cleverly designed to include both old and new architecture.
Its location is unbeatable and you can't literally miss it.

The building built in 1879 tells a fascinating story. Originally built by the first wave of Jewish immigrants from Germany , it has been maintained beautifully. By the second wave of Jewish immigrants in 1900 there were almost 9000 Jews in Glasgow mostly from Eastern Europe many on their way to the US .

The tour was superbly given by a Jewish member of the current congregation and a marvelous lady who had been Lord Mayor of Glasgow and who though Catholic donates her time and expertise to tell the story of Jewish migration in Scotland also demonstrates Scottish tolerance. in the best of all possible ways.

I went to Bridgeton library to use the computer as mine had broken. The lay out of the library is decent and I was glad that one of the workers told someone to be quiet when they were talking as I was trying to concentrate . However, the staff then proceeded to chat and laugh amongst themselves very loudly which I found hypocritical and very frustrating as I couldn’t focus on my work. This happened each time i visited the library and the lady behind the desk was quite rude to me. I won’t be back despite it being my local library, as I’ve been put off.
