Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

On a tour of Glasgow's highlights, we popped in here for 40 minutes or so. We didn't stop to see everything but quickly admired some gorgeous art and stuffed animals. Well worth a visit.

Went yesterday 24th Aug with husband, son and son's partner for the tour and dinner. Tour guide was Alan and we cannot praise the whole experience enough. Alan was informative, knowledgeable and friendly. The tour was informative; trophy room emotional esp the Eurooean cup. Food at dinner was of an exceptional standard. The whole experience was worth every penny. It was not expensive and I would highly recommend regardless of what team you support. 10 out of 10 for the whole experience. As they say "it's a grand old team".

Lots of shops and restaurants to suit all budgets and tastes. Some lovely buildings and shop fronts. I enjoyed an evening stroll when it was quieter after dinner.

A real pleasure at the end of Byres Road, definitely worth the 20 minute walk from Kelinggrove Art Gallery or Hop on/off bus tour. A beautiful building with plants from all over the world. The buildings, plants and wider park are extremely well kept. It is also free! I want one of these in my city!

The glasshouse provides a really lovely reading spot and the park is blessed with lots of squirrels.

The university of Glasgow is a beautiful place to visit, as it is architecturally stunning.
That, of course, does not mean it's a good place to study at.

We had an amazing time at the Glasgow Science Centre, it’s very informative. A fun afternoon out especially for the kids. The 3D cinema was the highlight for my 9 year old daughter.

On our first full day in Glasgow my husband suggested that we visit the Burrell Collection, which is one of the largest private collections housed in a modernist building, similar to the Barnes Collection in Philadelphia. They had a special exhibit of Degas; William Burrell had been one of the first Scottish collectors of his work. It is an eclectic collection and free like all of the art museums in Glasgow because of Burrell’s gift of deed. According to the docent who led an informative and exuberant tour, the bargain hunting collector left his collection of close to 9000 pieces to the city with that one stipulation. Good that he did. The museum houses some priceless artifacts, from Japanese ceramics to Medieval tapestries. It is at the south end of the city so does not get the foot traffic of the other museums in the city, but well worth the visit. We took the bus down and arrived in less than a hour with a short walk across the grounds. Try the cafe too, an unexpected treat.

Great tour! John Gallacher was our guide- absolutely brilliant! He followed in his family’s footsteps as so many members of his family have worked for Rangers over the years. His mum (Mary “tiny” Gallacher) worked for Rangers over 50 years!! he had many a first hand story to tell about the history of the club. Very knowledgeable man and did his club proud showing us such great hospitality. Did not walk in as a fan, but have a new appreciation for the club after visiting the stadium and taking the tour. Definitely worth a visit!

We drove over to the West End during our 3 day stay. It can also be reached on the tube. We found the historic little streets although there were only a couple. We then went and sat in a lovely park away from it all with view over looking the Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum and the University.

We had our wedding at House for an Art Lover, and it was exactly what we wanted. The customer service is excellent, and the support from the Wedding Co-ordinators was outstanding. Everything from the food to the small details was executed perfectly, so I would recomment the venue to everyone.

We had a brilliant day out seeing this stunning building. Plenty to wander around inside and great for history. Shame that it is closing its doors for four years due to refurbishment. Definitely would highly recommend it well worth another visit when it opens up again.
