Gordon arranged a day of whisky tasting for myself and 3 friends. The whole trip was perfect from start to finish - Gordon was super organised in preparing everything and making sure we stuck to our itinery as well as answering all my questions before hand. He's a really great guy with a huge amount of knowledge of the area and is extremely professional. Will definitely be back!

Just home from a fantastic trip to Mull, Iona, Staffa and the highlands of Scotland. This was my first time to Mull and Iona and it did not disappoint. I wanted to do this trip to let me get a taste of Mull and it has made me want to go back for more. The weather was not kind and thankfully the whole group came prepared so it meant that Liam our guide was able to follow his plans and show us the highlights. We had fun little ferry hops along with a trip out to see Fingals cave on Staffa.

Hats off to Liam who was able to share his personal stories and places on Mull, being a local lad. This made it feel like a very special trip.

Mull and Iona was fabulous and if you ever want to dip into a taster of these islands, then this is the way to do it.

We couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide around the Speyside whisky distilleries than Gavin, aka “Big Gav”. My wife is a whisky lover and has wanted to come to Scotland for a special decade birthday for about 20 years. Gav did not disappoint!!! He had big shoes to fill, and that he did, plus a few drams. He took us to well known distilleries as well as a few we had never heard of. He catered to the whisky lovers in our group as well as the novices. Truly a gem of a guide; kind, generous, knowledgeable, and humble. Would recommend 11/10. Slàinte Mhath!

Don’t leave Inverness without stopping by the Malt Room for a whisky flight! Bartenders will walk you through the tasting like a pro and the selection is impressive! Plus it’s a small, cozy venue with great music playing and a cool, local vibe

Amazing day (2 actually!). Gavin was a gracious knowledgeable local host and guide. He set up a bespoke itinerary prior to the visit. Everything was perfect and as advertised. Highly recommended. Did a second day of sightseeing with one of his colleagues as well—similarly great!

The natural beauty revealed to us on the NC500 tour was unsurpassed by all previous travels made by this octogenarian and septuagenarian wife. Care and consideration displayed by Helen Sim, our tour guide, was faultless. Her encyclopedic knowledge of Scottish history and culture added so much value to this experience. Her humorous anecdotes entertained our group. The unanimous applause given at end of tour reflected the appreciation of each participant. Well done Helen and thank you again.

The good: driver was amiable and made stops.
The terrible: driver was four and a half hours late getting back, so I missed my train and my non-refundable hotel, and had to get a new hotel near EDB.
The worst: driver demanded £140 at end of trip for extra time (due to his being lost), felt if I didn’t pay plus tip I wouldn’t get luggage from boot.
The simply bad: the driver had never been to ft William, Loch Lomond, or Glen Coe, and took detours even after I asked repeatedly to go back to Edinburgh. We got to FT William and rather than taking me back like I asked it was up to Glen Finian(viaduct?) and Loch Ness… it was like being a hostage in a very interesting trip.. while panicking that the chance of making the train was dimunushing.
The scary: breakneck speeds in the rain with sleeepy driver who thankfully stopped for coffee.

Scotland is beautiful, and I am glad I saw some things. But never again on Trip advisor or this operator, especially at the incredibly high expense.

I recommend avoiding at all costs

I would like to convey a great big thank you to Serena and Kevin who took tremendous care of planning and executing our 3 day whiskey tour in Scotland. From the moment Kevin picked us up in Glasgow with a luxurious Mercedes we knew we were going to have a great time. As a group, we were not always on time but Kevin was! Never did he even hinted that we were late, instead he just made the phone calls to the distilleries to warn them that we would be there later…class act Kevin (😊). Some distilleries did not accept us for the tour because of our tardiness, so Kevin took a detour and showed us historical sites instead, he even took us for lunch in the most beautiful hidden little inn along the Whiskey Trail. I will definitely come back with my entire family and make sure to Serena and Kevin plan it for us.
“Slagevar” (which we learned means Cheers!) and thank you for the most wonderful time.
