Wonderful visit. Place is spotless. Lovely decor. My chum & I had full body massages which were absolutely amazing. Worth every penny. A wee hidden gem & well worth a visit.

All the staff were polite and professional. The areas we visited, Spa and Pool area, were clean and well maintained. The ladies that completed our massage and facial packages were delightful. Have been several times and always a good experience.

Booked a Bamboo Massage for myself and it was wonderful. Vivienne was so welcoming and lovely and the whole experience was deeply relaxing. Never had a massage with bamboo before and it was wonderful. Daughter and friend both had Chakra Massage which they both found incredible. Would def recommend a treatment. We are here on holiday and took a chance on booking, with no regrets 🙏 thank you Vivienne.

My experience to the aqua dome was okay however it has a big issue that should be looked into, at the swimming anyone can walk in and i think this is extremely wrong because little girls in a pool or walking about could be getting photos taken of them and anyone could be in there this is a very serious issue that needs to be dealt with right away LOOK AFTER YOU CHILDREN !!!!!

I was taken here by my partner for my Christmas present. I had heard very positive things about it from friends who had visited and was not at all disappointed. It is a lovely, exclusive hotel with very high quality food and service. Our room, number 3, was exceptional in all ways.

This is an exceptional retreat in an exceptional location. . After a year's very hard graft Andy and Angela have created something completely unique. The pods and cottage have been constructed/upgraded to an exceptionally high standard, in spacious, relaxing grounds with a short 10 min walk to the genuinely untouched beach. Andy, has spent many many years in the region and knows the area extremely well. I recommend using his knowledge to plan trips exploring the area, particularly in they including fishing, hiking etc. I've been hoping for an opportunity to visit for some time and delighted to say it was so worth the wait. I will be back next year. Thank you again.

We swam twice while on holiday for a week, first visit the fans were out of order in the pool so it was very humid & warm, still managed a good swim then visited the sauna, our second visit later that week the fans were working again & the temperature was much better. Overall a good pool, it was really busy on our second visit, the pool was cleaner on the first trip, there were bits of something floating around the bottom of the pool the second time. The changing rooms were well laid out & showers fine however the floor was pretty dirty, I was glad I had my flip flops to keep my feet clean getting from the shower to the cubicle. Decent wee pool, was quite surprised to see separate mens & ladies changing facilities...not seen those in years!! The staff were really lovely too!

Lovely little leisure centre with friendly staff. We timed our visit well and had the pool virtually to ourselves. Lanes and free swimming opportunities. Plenty of floats and toys to keep the kids entertained.

I went along to have a facial with Mel at vogue beauty having had a few in my time. This facial was exceptional! Unlike any other facial I have had, Mel uses Ishga products which are seaweed based and Tropics which is cruelty free status and vegan friendly. Her expertise and attention to detail is completely professional. My skin felt amazing, the experience was relaxing and worth every penny. Mel is clearly a master of her trade, I am glad I have found her as beauticians who are invested in natural, cruelty free products are hard to find.
Mel will give you a professional service with a high standard of expertise.

What a fantastic facility Ruth and Jim have developed and what a friendly training facility, where all shapes, sizes and ages are warmly welcomed. The equipments are first class and the space is enormous, so you can train completely unhindered by others. I love the back room as they have great boxing bags and I really enjoy the cardio benefit of boxing training. I look forward to increasing my sessions at Silverback so that I can start to put a bit more muscle on this 56 year old frame!

Myself and my two daughters booked in for Novalashes for a wedding. We were all deeply impressed with how the lashes looked. We were all told that the lashes should last 4-6 weeks on the friday we had our appointmemts. When i woke up on the Sunday i was lucky if there was 4 lashes remaining in my left eye and 6 remaining in my right eye. I spoke to Jasmine and she advised to come in on the Wednesday night to get a new set of eyelashes done or have the remaining removed. When i arrived i was advised that doing the lashes again would be pointless so she removed the lashes. I spent £60 on these eyelashes £180 in total on all 3 sets and i was not offered a refund and there did not seem to be any thought of a refund in mind of the beautician. My daughter booked for infills 3 weeks later but had to cancel due to have no eyelashes left to infill (again these lashes are meant to last 4-6 weeks). The message sent for cancelling this appointment was seen by the beautician but was not replied to for confirmation on cancellation. I will not be using The Retreat for any treatments again as the experience and staff were very disappointing and there was no apology for the experience.

Travelling through Scotland during the month of April and needed nails and waxing. Found this place and it had good reviews and they managed to book me in at short notice. Lovely salon, the inside very shabby shic ... a greenhouse used for pedicures, fab touch, staff really nice and attentive. My only criticism the wait between waxing and nails was almost an hour and not acceptable. I then booked a facial and massage for the next day, they used Elemis my favourite products, again staff brilliant and it was a great treatment. Nice touches in the rooms with baskets for your clothes and a little cloth bag attached for your jewellery etc. Highly recommend.
