Becky was so inspiring with her confident nature and engaging chat about the animals that I stayed, and much to my amazement I even held the spider in my hands.
There’s also a nice play park outside and Dalkeith Country Park is only a couple of miles down the road.

Great place to escape the busy City crowds either for a gentle stroll through the Queens park or a more energetic climb to the summit of Arthur's Seat for its stunning views.
We parked at the Holyrood car park and took the kids (boys aged 11, 9 and 5) up the Radical Road route - a great choice as it gives fantastic views of the city and the Firth with the crags looming above you.
