It is unspoilt like so many of the Scottish white sand beaches and in a stunning, very photogenic location ... delightful
There are so many excellent beaches in the Lewis/Harris Island and this is one of he best.

Stunning location, made even better by the lovely sunny weather (unusual for October!) Gorgeous secluded beaches and countryside.
Surely one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, huge expanse of golden sands and turquoise water.....great for swimming in and when the tide is in it is a kite surfer's paradise!

Like so many other beaches in the islands, take a break to sit and appreciate the grandeur of nature.
Rare early evening sunshine enhanced this spectacular bay, peaty burn running down the beach to meet emerald green and sapphire blue seas, small loch so full of lovely water lilies made a further enchanting sight.

Set in the beautiful landscape of Uig on Lewis, with mountains, lochs, amazing beaches and a spectacular coastline.
I explored the cliffs first (reached from the village of Mangersta) overlooking the beaches and sea stacks.

Surfers, big waves, rockpools and turquoise safe shallows, amazing beach!
Living close to the beach I may be a little biased, however I must say Dalmore is a beautiful beach, in sunshine or during high winds.
