Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Visited the most northern point of Ireland and were not disappointed. A very windy and blustery day but the scenery here is exceptional and well worth a visit. Note though that parking is extremely limited.

Visiting the area and wanted to always visit the light house.Purchased tickets from cafe that is only a small walk from lighthouse entrance. Our tour guide John was friendly , insightful and easy to listen to.The tour is great and I believe value for money. It is definitely worth a visit for the Scenery alone.Visited the cafe and gift shop after for the obligatory holiday souvenir!!

A great day out for all the family in the run up to Christmas. Lots to do and amazing attention to detail. Every year it gets better and better.

The fairy bridge was just a few minute drive from our B&B and was worth seeing for its neat structure. At the carpark you can see the beautiful sand beach and if you go left the path takes you to the bridge.

Went on drive around Lough Eske, beautiful scenery, particularly from Harvey's Point, where we had lunch on their balcony overlooking lake... Food was delicious & staff very attentive. We met Éamonn Gillespie, who charmed all of us with his hospitality. He is so professional yet warm & authentic. We will be back to stay there.

This is a fantastic example of the history of the local area. The mill offers an insight in the cultivation, production & use of corn & flat, both key aspects of local life in the 19th & 20th century. I would recommend to friends. The tour guide, Clodagh, gave a great tour.

Mark Doherty drove us to meet Cyndi in her thatched roof business. Cyndi amazed us with her weaving…who knew the intricacies, not to mention muscle it takes to do the beautiful weavings she does. We had lovely products to choose from. I even bought a knit cap that was made by her mother along with other pretty things. Highly recommend!

    Overall:
An Port is reached via a one lane road, mostly in good condition, about 25 mins from Glencolumbkille. It's one of the most deserted places in the West. We walked thru a field to see the abandoned village on the right. However, the track on the left is spectacular and worth a walk. Up on the cliff, you can see across to the cliffs, some of which have fallen into the sea, and there's an inaccessible cliff island. All very beautiful on a sunny day, or magical in the rain. The waves crash on the shelf of rock below. Do not swim. Not remotely safe to swim!

This is better than Poulnabrone or any other dolmen we've visited. On a farmer's private field (he has provided walkways and stepladders to get over fences), so you encounter sheep and donkeys on the way. Two of the best structures anywhere in Ireland. The little community center nearby is also very nice and serves tea and snacks and has photos, cards, and other goods for sale. Quiet, surprising little corner of Donegal.

One of the most spectacular drives I have ever experienced. The scenery cannot be caught on camera it has to be experienced. We were lucky that the weather was amazing so we saw this magnificent county at its best. It's a gem that needs to be advertised more. I will certainly be back.
