- Adamsfamily6Prospect, KY17 contributionsWhat a wonderful experience with Wild N Happy Travel! From our first contact with Farna, to our send-off with Mick, we couldn’t have asked for more. Our family of 5 toured the South of Ireland with Mick who regaled us with tales of Ireland, and kept us laughing and entertained throughout our journey. We particularly enjoyed learning about Irish culture and the various sayings used by the locals. Mick was attuned to our needs and even organized a yoga class for me! The boys loved the time spent in the more rugged areas, such as hiking Torc Mountain and to the tower at Bray Head. The accommodations were lovely as well.

Our guide did a great job of wrangling us up and down the River Liffey. Even though the age range in the class varied from 13 to 50 everybody was made to feel equal and comfortable. No complaints. Thanks to our amazing local tour guide Marcus ,who showed us beautiful and unique sites: from breathtaking views to kayaking activity, Whiskey distillery, Filming locations from “Game of Thrones”, Irish folklore and history and local music and an amazing hospitality at Marcus house and his family, which was unforgettable evening. Thank you Marcus for being so kind, professional, generous and always with a smile, which made our trip to an amazing and unforgettable adventure. I wanted to drive our own car around Ireland and John helped me set up the hotel stays and dinners. Ashford Castle and Sheen Falls Lodge were incredible and I would stay at each of them again. In England, we wanted to relax, sit back and have a driver guide us around. Bath is a beautiful city. Their guides were all very intelligent and friendly. Alex, our guide, was fantastic - patient, friendly, and skilled at introducing newcomers to kayaking. The trip itself was a delight, with breathtaking views that truly made the experience unforgettable.
