#4 of 50 things to do in Westport
Padraic made us feel so at home and comfortable and was fantastic with the children too...it was a total pleasure and we will definitely be back.
The staff were fantastic, they took great care with the kids and safety - a particular thank you to Molly who was so friendly and kind and thank you to Padraic who was always there over seeing operations.

For families in summer conditions it is an ideal touring venue and the travel can be by car, bicycle or on foot with a wonderful picnic place overlooking Ashleam Bay.
The kids bounced across some spongy peat hags to enjoy the uninterrupted vistas over Achill’s north shoreline, Achill Sound and mainland Mayo to the east, and hunchbacked Clare Island to the south.

Last week my grand children spent one week learning how to handle horses, learning about Stable chores and more importantly the greatest joy of all Trekking.
Fantastic family trek along the beech and lanes of clew bay brought my wife and 5 and 7 year old kids.

I have low mobility so chose easy walks, the Greenway is perfect, lovely views, the children found a couple of Geocaches and sampled a few blackberries along the way.
It's great fun for all the family, you can use your own bikes or rent them from the various rental shops .If you rent you can have the option of being picked up and brought back to your car which is great.
