#105 of 103 things to do in County Tipperary
Watched my son and daughter in law having a fabulous time out on Lough Derg paddling through the reeds passing families of swans and ducks in the safe hands of Becky.
Kids thoroughly enjoyed it and Reuben was very patient with our youngest who was a little apprehensive at first.

We just returned from our family vacation in Ireland and it was amazing, thanks to Ireland Chauffeur Travel!
They planned a genealogy trip for me that included finding records of my great grandfather's family farm, school, and burial place.

Excellent castle to visit, the kids enjoyed walking through the rooms and spiral stairs to explore the castle.
The castle is well maintained, has very informative information panels, particularly about the Butler family, has some very tight spiral stairs and a picturesque river with resident white ducks.

In 2005 my husband and I enjoyed the dinner show at Bru Boru so when I went back to Ireland with my adult children in July 2016 I made sure to route our trip thru Cashel so they could experience it too.
Went here with a group of overseas friends and family to see Concert in Brú Ború Cultural Centre.

Our family enjoyed the peaceful setting and the history of the abbey we read about.

Designed by John Nash for the Butler family it is one of the best RE.ain't examples of this "Swiss cottage" genre once so popular with the rich and famous.
It is so pretty and and well worth the visit huge kids loved it too.

You have a feeding area which is safe for kids and there's a lovely chart showing the various birds which I find kids love.
Very peaceful on your own but if you bring the kids they can get up very close to the duck and get their photo with the birds .
