What travellers are saying
- kim hBirmingham England2,074 contributionsLoved these gardens walked around a couple of times during the day and evening. Felt safe. Beautiful plants and trees. Loved the Japanese garden. Lovely buildings the Bandstand, the old Magnesia Well Pump Room as well as the new one and the sun pavilion and colonnade. Well worth a visit.Written 16 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Andrew GPenicuik, UK688 contributionsNice to park up and just meander the area. Very helpful staff when our Scottish National Trust membership cards weren't recognised by parking machine. Nice exhibition onsite, and there are snacks and drinks available near to that building. The rock formations never fail to fascinate.Written 15 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- mike sUnited Kingdom467 contributionsThe RHS lives up to its reputation with the different displays of shrubs and flowers in the many beds. Much is relatively flat with good paths though their is plenty of "natural" spaces. Easy to spend several hours wandering and looking (and smelling). Very pleasant experience for enthusiastic gardeners and for us who like to wander.Written 14 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Jane Aubrey MScarborough District, UK4 contributionsWas an amazing experience, we loved walking our llamas! The staff were so friendly, knowledgeable and clearly loved and cared very much for the 94 llamas and alpacas that lived in the beautiful surrounding landscape. I would highly recommend this experience and would love to do it all again.Written 15 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Bruce WStockton-on-Tees, UK7 contributionsWonderful village excellent free car park (currently - as meters were spotted under cover at the entrance!) - Jan P3 contributionsReally nice venue, free parking exceptionally clean helpful and friendly staff. Patchwork and quilt show, whilst smaller than NeC Birminghamand Alexander Palace, persona,ly I felt it was a much nicer experience as it was crammed and manic. Lots of wonderful fabrics, kits, and plenty of notions. Would
Highly recommended.Written 11 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Jane C2 contributionsMy 5 year old had a great intro session with Sam (I think this is correct, apologies if not!) I want to name him because he was great with the kids & had them climbing to the top in no time :)
Jacob loved it & we will definitely be back again, it’s really helping him learning to focus & of course great fun!Written 3 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - AdrianBerkhamsted, UK307 contributionsThis place would not be out of place in any city. They serve a great variety of beers, even a larger for the likes of myself that don't like the soapy beers. The venue was a littel cold but once it got busy it had a lovely vibe.Written 13 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- MerseysideTinkerbellMerseyside, UK4,337 contributionsInteresting how Harrogate came to be such a popular place as people thought that partaking of the waters from the various springs in Harrogate were good for them and treatments were recommended be that drinking it as well as bathing in it etc. Of course now it is known that you should not drink water with sulphur in it!Written 3 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Max It OutHarrogate, UK1,091 contributionsReally good convention centre, we went to see a show there, easy to get into and the staff are really good, I really liked the circular walkway to get to upper floors, very cool design feature, the seats are some of the comfiest I've had the pleasure of sitting in.
I've knocked a score off as the bar queue was long and there are not enough ladies faciticiltes which caused very long queues.Written 15 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - summerbell40Leeds, UK72 contributionsI often pop into the gallery to see what interesting exhibition is on display. Most recently it was an amazing abstract exhibition. The gallery itself is a beautiful building and always worth a visit. I also like to buy gifts and cards from the shop there.Written 29 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
