There were a lot more rocks than I realised! A short walk up from the car park and you are amongst boulders the size of houses. Keep an eye on little children because there are some cliff edge drops.

You pay for the car park but entry is free.

We visited for the Winter Walk and the tempting mention on the website of snowdrops.

The colours of the winter walk were good and similar plants could be seen around the garden. We had an enjoyable wander around the gardens.

We did see an odd group of snowdrops or two but nothing like what was mentioned when we enquired before we went. Another couple of weeks yet, I think.

We had coffee and Fat Rascals at Betties when we arrived. Not been for a long time - you have to queue outside and enter through the back door now, strange.

Well kept clean park & gardens. Was still nice to walk around in November. Has a cafe too. Would come back in summer when in full bloom

We had a 3 hour scenic farm trek for my wife's birthday, led by Charlotte. The pre-visit information was great and the venue, whilst remote, was easy to find following the directions given. We were welcomed warmly, and soon into the experience. Charlotte introduced us to several different llamas, explaining the differences, telling us about their backgrounds, quirks, behaviours and how they are looked after. Charlotte was interesting and informative and answered questions very well. We were matched to our trek llamas based on what type we wanted. Charlotte's choices for us were spot on. The trek was led very well, with opportunities to experience and bond with the llama, enjoy the beautiful countryside and ask more questions. We met lots of other llamas on the way and even had a complementary cuppa and flapjack on the sunshine to finish. We have done alpaca trekking elsewhere but at Nidderdale there was a real sense that the llama welfare came first which made the human experience that much better. We would highly recommend a visit and thank you Charlotte for being a great host and trek leader.

Did the family intro with my 6 year old son. We were the only people on the session so it was an hour and a half of doing as we wished. We did auto-belay, roped climbs and some bouldering. My son loved it and now wants to come back and do the NICAS lessons. Billy, our instructor, was great and explained things clearly. I am also tempted to learn to belay and we continue to come back on a regular basis

What a lovely quaint old fashioned traditional cosy warm theatre, easy to travel to via bus from Leeds, short walk from the bus station.

An interesting visit with lots of good videos that give good background and much additional information. Worth a visit as they explain a lot about how and why Harrogate grew up.
There need to be many more signs in the town about how to find it though!

We always make a point of dropping in to Cold Bath for a drink and natter. The wide choice of beers and drinks available means there’s always a chance to try something new or revisit on old favourite ! Certainly recommend then Ale if you like a beer !

I went with my mum for a walk around fewston and ended up fewston and swinsky reservoir.we took a stroll around and it took us about 4/5 hours.the views are beautiful especially in autumn and winter time and we will be going back in summer just to see how it changes through the months.plenty of benches scattered around incase you need a breather.fewston reservoir is more of a vigorous walk as it’s a little hilly but not too much whereas Swinsky reservoir is flat all the way around and also has a picnic area and a place to feed the ducks.good place to fish too if that’s what you are wanting as we saw a few people fishing around swinsky.I would highly recommend for a nice walk.plenty of parking and only about 10mins by car from otley..

I visited the distillery with my partner for a tour and it was such a fun experience! Blake is very passionate about what he does and it made the tour very enjoyable. The tasting itself was also amazing with lots of recommendations of what to pair each gin with. No questions were left unanswered, it was very informative. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area, thanks! :)
