Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Absolutely fantastic. Was not expecting much but was really pleasantly surprised. About a 500m walk to the top on a sloping but easy path. Lots of groups of rock formations and you can climb up wherever you are comfortable to do so. Beautiful view and lovely to see lots of kids having fun. Nice little cafe at the top with outside seating and toilets. Take a snack if you prefer and sit outside and enjoy the sunshine.

Looking for a very calming experience then this is the place for you. Fantastic half day trek with two excellent young ladies, both very knowledgeable and passionate about the llamas.
All the information given was first class as was the trek with these marvellous animals. Fabulous time, not to be missed.

What an amazing property. The direct links to our country's history was interesting and quite exciting. Our guide, Clare, was brilliant and very engaging.

I went with my mum for a walk around fewston and ended up fewston and swinsky reservoir.we took a stroll around and it took us about 4/5 hours.the views are beautiful especially in autumn and winter time and we will be going back in summer just to see how it changes through the months.plenty of benches scattered around incase you need a breather.fewston reservoir is more of a vigorous walk as it’s a little hilly but not too much whereas Swinsky reservoir is flat all the way around and also has a picnic area and a place to feed the ducks.good place to fish too if that’s what you are wanting as we saw a few people fishing around swinsky.I would highly recommend for a nice walk.plenty of parking and only about 10mins by car from otley..

Had a walk up here when spending the day walking around Swinsty and Fewston - we often visit the reservoirs but have never been to the centre. It is very modern and spotlessly clean. We had the fudge cake and the rich chocolate cake. The rich chocolate cake was the nicest chocolate cake I have ever tasted! Two hot drinks and two cakes came to £8 - very inexpensive. The staff are all volunteers and were very friendly.
The heritage centre contains information about the bodies/coffins they dug up to build and moved to build the centre. A touch macabre as the display includes coffin handles and plates! It’s interesting once you get past that though.
Sure we will call here on every visit from now on!

Absolutely fantastic atmosphere, lovely little beer garden, great service and most importantly, superb beer. The Pale was sensational. Absolute must for a real ale drinker and really well done with getting the vibe just right.

Beautifully curated and well priced treasure trove of a shop. Something for everyone - mid century European ceramics, men and women’s clothes from every decade and for every occasion, beautiful art deco and modernist furniture, records and music memorabilia, both high end and costume jewellery, and even old children’s toys from years gone by which my kids loved rooting through. A Walkman! Fisher Price phone! Tin soldiers! Very friendly and welcoming staff including for my children (my young teen enjoyed trying on a ball dress). Will definitely be back.

Great kid-friend David Bowie inspired cafe bar upstairs too.

An interesting venue at Harrogate Antique and Heritage Centre but what a treasure. There is lots to see here, garden centre, art gallery various outlets and Christians. An interesting menu with chefs taking a real interest in tasty combinations. Duo of lamb with sun dried tomatoes and black olive tapenade is a cute little starter. Little cannot be applied to mains, sandwiches etc but they are all flavoursome. The staff are polite, efficient, knowledgeable about the menu with the right balance of friendliness and professionalism. Worth a visit! The only negative for me is that I found the chairs very hard and uncomfortable.

We had a fabulous time on this tour, Kay our tour guide was super friendly. We loved all the stops as they were not what we expected but delicious, plus Kay provided lots of history and information about York and the food. Would highly recommend!

The tour of York as well as the trip to Glasgow with Nick was wonderful. He knows so much about the history, culture, shops and anything else you can think of. We thoroughly enjoyed the days spent with Nick and are very glad we were able to have him as our guide. Additionally, he was very conscientious of the pace of the tour for us and even brought a folding seat for my husband. The gift of various candy and tea was an extra surprise and was very much appreciated. We highly recommend YorTours.
