Found that the Black Country museum was very educational and the volunteers were absolutely amazing. They took their time to explain everything .

Visited here a couple of times with our kids and we've had a lovely time every time.
It's not too big but having said this they have lots of different animals there. Each enclosure has a little story about the animal which is lovely, especially as they are all animals which have been abandoned.
You're able to feed some of the animals which is nice. Nice area to have a picnic in. Only downfall is it isn't the most pram/buggy friendly. Few areas which are uneven and slightly steep but manageable.
For the price you can't go wrong, and knowing the money goes towards the abandoned animals is worth while.
Lots of parking which is free too.
Will definitely be visiting again in the future.

Visited on my way to a conference in Birmingham, a slight detour that was worth it! Set in a park, the ruined abbey is get surviver from medieval Dudley and the snow just added to the atmosphere… set within a large park, the site is Free to visit, Allow 20-30 mins for a look around.

Good Parking, clean center but the general public stop it being a 5 as the locals can be rude and kids run amok

My 4 year old grandson and I visited recently and weren't disappointed. He loves dinosaurs and fossils plus the 'Find Me' sheets meant he was able to explore in great detail, only a few people there meant we were able to walk around with ease. He enjoyed finding Perry, the Games mascot and completing the large jigsaws.
Only concentrated on this part of the museum, it is only small and our visit lasted about 90 minutes but enjoyable.
Easy to locate, free parking, would be nice if postcards/memorabilia could be available to purchase.

Just completed a brewery tour here and really enjoyed it. Our tour guide Debbie was full of knowledge as also included a lot of Black Country history which was really interesting.
We had beer tasting with nibbles after which included their homemade ale chutney and marmal'ale'. All very nice. They ended the tour in giving us all a bottle of beer of our choice and a limited edition glass/tankard which is only given to tour guests.
Really enjoyable few hours so thank you very much.

Great place for a walk, or to exercise dog. Open spaces, lake and pools..leading up to Baggeridge Country Park. Wildlife to keep an eye out for.
Cafe within Himley Hall and also Log cabin cafe with outdoor seating only which is highly recommended for light bites, sandwiches, ice creams, breakfast baps, meal deals, hot and cold drinks and even dog sausages. Food cooked fresh to order and friendly staff. Highly recommend.
