Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Walking from Burnage/Withington to Didsbury I decided to cut across via the park. I noticed a plethora of activities from an excellent children’s play area , a cafe ( not sure it was open ) nice ponds with ducks , interesting trees and birds and plenty of prams, joggers and dogs on leads. The place had a nice relaxed atmosphere and is much larger than it first appears . Not too wet need to do more steps and got a spare half an hour ? Ideal

A great landmark of Manchester ruined. This used to be a beautiful garden (hence the name) back in the early 80s when I was a regular visitor. It is now a soulless piece of space with no personality at all. A mish mash of metro lines, tacky shopfronts and beggars. Shameful really.

While not overly large in expanse, it nevertheless is a welcome green space. Good paths weave between the trees and through the grassways.

A number of monuments are to be seen. Prime is the one to the great scientist Alan Turing that has him sitting on a bench holding an apple in one hand.

Tucked behind Deansgate, somewhere to relax and contemplate, to breath, or just to eat your packed lunch

Fantastic garden centre, spaces to sit and enjoy the setting, wide range of plants for sale, helpful staff, great cafe, good music, spaces for hire for parties and meetings, free and plentiful parking outside, good access.... what isn't there to like?
    Highly recommended!!

The more we visited Marie Louise the greater our appreciation was.
It’s a well cared for smallish green space ( Mcr has more than you’d imagine) popular with a diverse group of folks
Squirrels and corvids and pigeons abound and in my book always an entertaining bunch.
There’s an array of trees n shrubs and the volunteers do a sterling job.
