Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Romans AMalaga, Spain7 contributionsAbsolutely amazing - didn't expect to crease as much as I did. The entire team is very talented, think quickly on their feet, and truly made us feel like part of the experience. Will definitely be seeing them again - can't wait for the next theme!Written 14 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - FoodangeManchester, UK4,934 contributionsFirst time visit for Hockney.
Didn't really know what to expect. Sat in one big room with projections on three sides, so you had to keep turning your head to make sure nothing was missed. There was some seating but most sat on the floor.
There was good movement as the iPad brush strokes created art and also the opera pieces were brilliant. Hockney did the voiceover himself, which wasn’t particularly illuminating.
The show was poor compared to Van Gogh Alive at Media City a couple of years ago; we certainly didn’t feel that it was ‘immersive’. There was too little on the LA years.
The whole experience was spoiled by kids constantly running around right at the front. Not sure why they were there, they had no interest in the show. Their parents did of course, so they didn’t care and nor did the attendants, who just sat in chairs doing nothing.
Guess the kids got in free. We certainly didn’t and it was expensive for what we ‘experienced’.
Also surprised there was no coat check at all. Decent café. Wouldn’t rush back.Written 30 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Didn’t need to show tickets, the guy had my name on a list!!! How great lol!!!
Stood on a slightly raised platform but which was great cos at 5 foot 1 I often struggle to see when at standing venue.
Gig was great. Beers were reasonable and I’d definitely return here. Loved it.Written 3 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 336rachaelgEngland, UK4 contributionsBooked the escape room for my son's 9th birthday. It was absolutely brilliant, can't recommend it enough. Kids were aged 8-10, plus one 6 year old and two adults. Puzzles were challenging, exciting and fun for everyone. Older kids worked together to find codes and clues, 6 year old loved collecting the fluffy bookworms in each room (which were important at the end). The host was fabulous and accommodated and guided our very excited group perfectly! Thank you so much for a wonderful time.Written 16 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- jollygill2711Poulton Le Fylde, UK3 contributionsThe entrance fee was £5 which was great value as there was five acts. 4 out of 5 were excellent especially Tes and the headline act. The compare was very good. This was our first visit and some audience members claimed the centre front seats were thiers as they attended every week. We were nuged out of the way to an adjacent table. The seating is first come first served so this annoyed us at the beginning as they had a routine they performed at the start of each section. Overall though it was a excellent evening and we would highly recommend it.Written 6 December 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sharon WRochester, UK14 contributionsSaw the movie years ago so thought I'd go along to see the musical. In this production, the script and plot have been updated since the 80s movie and it worked well. Brian Conley and Bonnie Langford made a great combination, especially in the fantasy dance routine. This show had me laughing right the way through it. Would thoroughly recommend it.Written 7 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Becky S2 contributionsAmazing, crazy, bizarre, and all kinds of funny.
Describing this night is a little tricky as it was hilarious and shiny all at once.
Begins with getting loaded up with a decent choice of drinks including the options of ice buckets of beers, wine, ciders, gin and tonics etc.....
Mascot roaming around gearing everyone up, DJ throwing out some bangers.
And the show begins and you’ll find yourself asking “what the hell is happening” whilst laughing your face off.
The “quiz show” crew are great and hilarious.
This is a super interactive show that ends with everyone having a dance, including the fab queens.
For those afraid to interact, that’s fine too. You won’t be pulled in unless you want to be involved. So feel free to sit up front. :)
Defo recommend this for laughs and lighthearted fun!Written 6 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
