Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Easy to locate after parking at nearby PCP carpark.
Clean and spacious.
Well kept building / venue.Written 7 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - loobyBucksbucks600 contributionsWinter Funland at the NEC Birmingham was actually better than I anticipated.
Plenty to do for the younger children and four hours was about the right amount of time to spend here.
The motor bike show and the circus were both good and the little ones loved the Father Christmas experience.
We didn’t have to queue to get on the rides but perhaps a few people didn’t go due to the latest C19 variant.
The worst thing was the food there wasn’t a healthy option to be found just chips, burgers, hotdogs and a few other choices that all looked very grim and were over priced.
Quite of few stalls with the usual rubbish soft toys as prizes you pay extra to go on these.Written 21 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This is a fantastic little venue the crowd in there was young and very friendly and all having a good time. I will visit the venue again, I was a little nervous about visiting the place but was immediately put at ease as soon as I got to the door. The doorman was very friendly and the bars staff really friendly.Written 25 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Luke M1 contributionJust horrible, we had tickets to enter at 9am on Saturday and we were looking forward to it as we haven't been to this kind of convention since pre-covid. We entered at 9am and left at 9:45am...
The "shopping section" was around 4/5 short rows of the same stuff over and over again (funko pops, mystery boxes and pokemon cards) with very few independent retailers or small artists/shops which I have come to expect from Comic Con.
The second room was huge with a few set pieces and models to take pictures with but that was it. Unless you wanted to meet someone this was awful.
We ended up going to Mega Con which was at the same time in Manchester Central which was a million times more organised and was clearly supporting local businesses and artists.
Will never be giving these guys any of my money again.Written 28 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
