It is possible to rent both buggy’s and clubs- however you are instructed to phone and book ahead of time. The only downside that brings this down from 5 stars was an incredibly rude member of staff to both me and my friend. The younger member of staff seemed embarrassed of her also. - Explorer7036231 contributionOur daughter and son in law chose northenden golf club for their wedding party. The venue was wonderful. The catering and bar staff were amazing not to mention the food which was delicious.
We would definitely recommend NGC for anyone looking for a venue.

The room was as expected and we supplied decorations which turned out lovely, everyone enjoyed the food. - robnh61Stockport, UK2,432 contributionsI’ve played Withington a few times and have always been quite impressed apart from last year which was very disappointing due to the greens.
I played it recently and it appears that normal service is resumed. The course was in good condition, very well presented with well defined fairways. The greens were good, true and even paced which is all a golfer can ask for.

Helped me decide in a few different choices then narrowed it down to the best performing one. Really friendly service and gave me all the time in the world to try my new club.
