Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It's like a building full of small independent shops where you can find a costume shop or a store full of clothing of all kinds! There is even a music area where you can play freely! Very interesting to visit!!

Lovely museum, within walking distance of a tram station. Very informative about Manchester's role in the Industrial Revolution. Plenty of interactive exhibits for old and young. Free entry, but able to co tribute a small donation. Well priced cafe inside, as well as gift shop. Our toddler had a fantastic time.

This tour truly stood out from all the other stadium tours in the UK! From the very first moment, the professionalism was evident, and our tour guides, Mark and Linda, kept us laughing long after the tour was over. We learned so much about our favorite club in a fun and engaging way!

Visited the National Football Museum and loved every minute! The exhibits are a fantastic mix of history, memorabilia, and interactive fun. Seeing iconic items like the 1966 World Cup ball was a real treat. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, making the experience even better. Perfect for fans of all ages—definitely worth a visit if you’re in Manchester!

What wonderful staff here. I just wanted to express about one particular member of staff. The lady that was working in the gift shop today. On arrival you walk through the gift shop and her interaction with my son (and other members of the public) was nothing short of fantastic. She was bubbly, energetic and so respectful, she really put into place the day that followed. Her presence was remarkable.

I didn’t catch her name but I made a point of telling her how brilliant she was. Actually every member of staff here seemed totally on point but especially this wonderful human.

Will definitely be back soon. X

A fantastic venue, easy to access and navigate around to find your block and seats. Plenty of staff around guiding you or to help if needed assistance. Well organised for sure...

My only gripe is the seating. So uncomfortable after an hour. So tight for leg room even for a 5ft 3 person, people taller than that people were struggling. Thank god for the interval.

However the show was absolutely fantastic. Peter Kay never dissapoints. Such a great few hours spent with a legend. Atmosphere was brilliant and we laughed till we cried.

When the show was over it was easy to get out. Although alot of litter left behind for staff to clean up which isn't AO Arena fault just bone idol and disrespectful visitors.

I will be purchasing different seats next time we visit.

You could not hope for a more hopeful and inspiring museum. The time frames for the labour movement's wins are in the centuries and too look back over all that history in one place. Great to step back from the fray and see our struggle in context. It took 200 years from the first man being arrested for demanding suffrage for all working men, to when they got it. We all put out shoulders to the wheel and move it on a little way. Really can't recommend this place enough.

"Manchester Cathedral is absolutely beautiful. The Gothic architecture and stained glass windows are stunning. It's always so peaceful inside, a lovely place for some quiet reflection. A piece of Manchester's history that's well worth visiting. - Anna Thompson"

When I was in Manchester, I saw the play 'The importance of being Earnest'.
Apart from the magnificent location, which felt really homely, the play itself can only be described as brilliant. Without losing the original topics of discussion, it was delightfully modernized and very well played.
I enjoyed it immensely, wouldn't have wanted to miss it.

The Greater Manchester Police station is a free museum dating back to the late 1800ts. Very good set up and worth a visit.

Palace Theatre is a long standing venue in downtown manchester. It does host some good and current shows. Place needs a bit on money to bring it up a bit.

I did not get to the venue till late (stuck in traffic), I arrived literally 5 mins before the start of the concert. So I didn't get to see much of the Bridgewater Hall, I've read reviews that the bar is expensive (where isn't it these days?), anyway the concert iteslf sounded absolutley fantastic!
