The dinner was not that good. The chocolate mousse was wonderful. The band that played only played American, English music and I was disappointed that it wasn't french music. And there is two hours between the dinner and Moulin Rouge cabaret show. That's a lot of time. The show itself was excellent! Loved the dancers, and the acts. They all work so hard! Just incredible! I was sad when it was over! What a great experience!

First visit to the Moulin Rouge and to be honest it was a lot better than I expected. We booked the 11pm show, got to the area at 9.30 went for a quick drink next door then started queueing at 10pm.

We finally got to our seat at 11.15 and the show did not start till 11.45pm, finished at 1.30am. Luckily for us we were only a 20 minute walk from our hotel which was fine so was in bed by 2am.

The show itself was very good with a mixture of acts and the champagne we had included in our deal was decent. We did have to share a table with two other couples but as we were the first there we had the better seats so a tip for anyone visiting soon my advice would be to start queueing 10.15pm latest.

Initially this visit was more for my girlfriend and I went into it thinking its not something you do everyday and something you can say you have done and I am glad I did as we both enjoyed ourselves.

Having been to Lido for a cabaret night a couple of years ago, on our return to Paris we was keen to take in another cabaret, so decided to give Crazy Horse a try, we opted for ‘with drinks’ option but went with the drinks from the bar rather than the Champagne at the 1030pm Sunday show, and we really enjoyed it.

Lido is great, but Crazy Horse feels a bit more modern and fun

The venue is intimate, the staff friendly, all in all a good fun night

Most amazing show I have ever seen, exceeded all our expectations by far! Beforehand all communication was very quick and efficient advising us of the different menu options and what we could do if we didn't like the menu etc.

We went to the dinner and show on Monday 2nd May, we arrived at 6:45pm for the 7pm meal and 9pm show. We had our tickets checked and then did have to queue up quite a few times to get in which is understandable with a big venue but it is very well organised and the staff are lovely. You no longer need to wear masks or present a covid pass to get in but some of the staff are still wearing masks so it's personal choice whether you want to wear them.

It does say smart attire and certain clothes aren't allowed but they seem to let everyone in and some were in jeans, t shirts and trainers which I don't want to say spoilt it but it did a bit as it's a dressy venue so part of the appeal is everyone is dressed up in there. They could maybe enforce the dress code a bit more as it's well documented on the website.

The tables are very tight and you are sat close to others but we embraced it and didn't let it spoil the night. I saw people get on quite well with the people sat near them, we didn't really talk to those sat near us but that was mainly due to a language barrier. I did see quite a few people complain and ask to move which I understand why but then it could also spoil it for others who have just sat down happily. One group I saw came in about 8:45pm for the 9pm show - bearing in mind the doors shut 10 minutes before and they were complaining they didn't like their seats and wanted to be sat directly in the middle. The waitress did offer another seat after trying to move others around and it still wasn't good enough for them but in the end they did sit in that place.

I did feel sorry for the staff as it seemed whatever they did and they were more the accommodating it wasn't good enough for some of them. We had asapargus and beef for starter, chicken for main and then this chocolate pastry for dessert. Not quite sure what most of it was but we really enjoyed it and the chocolate dessert was amazing. When we first sat down we were offered champagne or wine as I don't really drink my mum got a small bottle of champagne to herself and I was offered a soft drink. When I finished my coke zero, the waiter replaced it without me even asking which I thought was a sweet touch.

The show started at 9pm and finished at 10:45pm. It was absolutely incredible, the girls were stunning and you could just see how strong and talented they all were. The costumes were amazing and although there were a few wardrobe mishaps, they still carried on with the show like nothing had happened.

Although it is expensive I would highly recommend going to the Moulin Rouge in Paris, it's one of those bucket list things.

Fantastic show from start to finish - this is their 75th anniversary and I heard they made some changes to the programme. The mime artist and acrobats were also amazing - and so were the dancers of course! Great music and staging presented in the very classy way - enjoyable from start to finish!

Visited for New Years Eve. Over all a great show. The band and singers performing during dinner were outstanding, energetic and entertaining. They performed continuously for over4 hours. The show itself was good too. Very artistic. I would recommend trying to sit in the middle as we were on the side near the kitchen which is what kept this from being 5 stars.

Meeting point was fairly easy to find. We arrived early and had dinner down the street. Walked to the boat was not too far. It was wonderful to see the buildings along the river at night, so beautiful. Dress appropriately if you plan to stay outside. It was nice to have the bus to Moulin Rouge and our guide got us excellent seats for the show. The show itself is fantastic! We took taxi back to hotel, if you chose to do that cross the street to get taxi as the ones in front of the theatre are fixed price.

Having been before and my wife telling my daughters about the show they have always wanted to go. So we booked it for my Daughter’s 18th with her sister who 15, you can take younger children but I think to appreciate it you need to be a little older.
Even though I knew what to expect I was once again blown away on all fronts.
The staff are fantastic and helpful they really want your enjoyment to start as you arrive. You have to do the obligatory safety check but it’s done with fun and smiles.
Whilst the dancing and music is great you are also watching some mighty fine athletics as well. I won’t spoil it by sharing about the scenes but if you are going to Paris it’s a must to go.

some paris friends said i should go here instead of the tourist trap. I did. It was more than worth it!

we took the show+champagne, half a bottle each. the drinks are quite expensive there so the option with champagne is nice.

you get checked at the entrance, then you approach the front-desk and get your ticket checked and sent downstairs where u can leave your jacket for free.

u queue again at a second ticket check and then you'll get seated.

so with all this it is best to come at least 20-30min earlier.

the show was interesting, had very nice art bits, light and visual effects and overall creative choreographies. The music was nice, but a bit heavy on the american-english part. a very little break would be appropriate when sitting for 2h drinking champagne.

I must say, that this time the 'red thread' with a peak performance was missing. it was a bit like having one good performance after the other and it was not culminating into a pompous and crazy climax, as i hoped it would. at a show that is called 'totally crazy'.

yes the girls are naked and pretty from head to toe. They really seemed to enjoy performing and acting. Big compliments to them!
As it was the first show of the evening, a quite stressed flair with a slight kicking-out vibe (making on purpose loud noises close to you) took place at the end, while finishing the last sips.

there is a picture service to get a headshot of you which you can decline while taking and even when she comes with the printed ones. Or you can have them.

Don't be irritated by the continuously present and repeated reminder of being in the real and only crazy horse. I hoped as much. And I hoped they wouldn't need to even say it.

In short: It was modern burlesque and worth a visit. I'd recommend it, definitely.

ps.: no pictures, as you can't take pictures

This was my first experience of a Paris cabaret. I picked this over the other cabarets based on reviews. It did not disappoint!
It was a great combination of drag, burlesque and sensual performances. In between there was even a comedy duo to keep the energy levels up. The highlight of the night was the performance with the bath!
You don't need to speak French to keep up with the show either.
The only complaint I would have is how tight the seating is to the point of being uncomfortable for some. As you can't choose your seating there is little you can do.
    Overall I would recommend.

This was a great experience overall! The best part was the service and show. The food was ok, even considering the mass amount they prepared to serve. I recommend the full experience.

A true traditional cabaret show that combined music, dance, burlesque, comedy and all round entertainment. The show was very enjoyable and the surroundings were like a step back in time to theatres from the 50s/60s in deco style. We opted for dinner and drinks and had attentive service for this. The meal is average but a nice to do and given its cooked en mass, it was fairly decent foe the price. Would recommend for anyone looking for an alternative to Moulin Rouge.

I’ve been to Crazy many times and it never fails to impress. They’ve definitely upped their lighting game, very creative and visually impressive! Some lip syncing acts could be axed (apart from Britney Spears), but loved the singing host and tapping twins. Recommend it as the best show in Paris to everyone.

The Illuminations tour was good. The driver hit some of the highlights. For the price, they could not hit all French districts. But beware, the Moulin Rouge show is nothing like Toulouse-Lautrec would have experienced. No CanCan, just a dated combination of a 1970’s French variety show, a vaudeville act, a burlesque sow, a circus act, a cheap Vegas act. A boobs and butt show. I also did not appreciate the use of Shetland ponies and reptiles in the show who were obviously unhappy.

Olivier is so observant, quick, intelligent and funny! He works well with the audience and keeps the program lively and engaging. This is the second time I've been and I would see this again next time I am in Paris. I just wish there was a DVD or something to bring home and show others!
