Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Busy, crowded, but generally clean and frequent.
    Be mindful of pickpockets.

The Navigo metro card top up machines wouldn't always accept my debit card. However, a useful card to have.

Second year in a row to Paris, second year using the Funiculaire to visit the Sacre Coeur. Although strictly speaking not a funicular anymore it remains a lovely historic form of transport with good views and save a lot of effort climbing the stairs. We had learned from last year when the ticket machine was a nightmare and simply bought an extra metro ticket when travelling to Montmartre.

Taking RER or metro from here is fine. For buses it’s not so convenient as the buses depart away from the main station. Inside there were ‘t any particularly interesting shops. I’ve been to better places, I’ve also been to much worse. Overall, it was OK.

Excellent. I would give Marc 7 stars if I could. You will not find a better service than his. He is a born and bred Parisien and knows the roads better than anyone I have ever come across. Simply outstanding.

We used the RER to transfer between Gare du Nord to Gare de Lyon. You can buy tickets on Eurostar avoiding the queues at the station. The entrance to the RER is at the end of the platform when you arrive in Paris. However when you get down to the basement area there is quite a lot of walking with your luggage. You follow the signs to the RER and eventually arrive at the trainlines but it is not clear which actual line you take. There are no network plans as on the London Underground so it is best to ask one of the helpful staff. The journey took only about 8 minutes but the trains are filthy and crowded so you may not enjoy the experience.

Eurolines/toks Vilnius - Minsk, January 3, departure at 6:40. The driver swore at an elderly woman who simply asked politely if there was Wi-Fi. He said, "They'll lock you in a coffin, you'll be still demanding Wi-Fi from there." Then, at the Belarusian border, he rudely insulted Ukrainian citizens (including elderly women), because they were taking long to get through the Belarusian border(none of their fault, just a usual procedure now that everyone is used to). He shouted obscenities at them, saying, "stay in Ukraine," etc. This should be unacceptable in a European company. In addition, he used his phone more than once - talking and checking messages - while driving.

Absolutely disgusting health hazardous hole. How Paris gets away with this is a disgrace. Stinks if urine, rats running everywhere; one ladies’ toilet with no seat. The whole place will make you gag.

When you buy your weekly pass they don’t tell you that you need a picture to put on the pass and if you get stop by the RATP you are going to get fined if you don’t have said picture.
Make sure you put a picture in your pass however they target unaware tourist.
