A huge wooden church, apparently the largest in France. Originally half this size, they built a duplicate as an extension to the side when they wanted more space

Very photogenic little port with some good restaurants lurking in the side streets. There’s a merry go round, nice boats and pretty shops.

Really something special, quite an experience going over it by car, and beautiful views over the Seine river. Toll to be paid.

This is a beautiful chapel on top of the Honfleur Hill. It was a place where many artists used to go to for the scenery.

The chapel is located in a park (with a car parking).

Very well-kept and unusual garden, with "compounds" or designated areas dedicated to the memory of particular "local heroes" (artists, writers etc.) with their portrait busts. Nicely planted and obviously a favourite walking spot with locals and tourists - leads to the nice beach!

A very interesting walk around the greenhouse hosting a wide variety of plants butterflies and birds.
Helped to partially overcome my partners fear of our feathered friends.

A nice walk through the backstreets (or you could drive!) up to a height which offers great panoramas over the town, the Seine estuary and of the marvellous Pont de Normandie suspension bridge - a real structural wonder.

This museum is very strange, which suits the man it's an homage to! Before you go you should read a bit about Eric Satie and his time. Besides you might profit from a couple of audio excerpts of his works.
Don't go in without an audio guide or you'll be lost in space.
There are a couple of exhibits which you can touch and work, such as a merry-go-round that you can mount and which you have to power yourself like a bicycle. If you do that you'l see Satie's unplayable instruments such as the dictionary accordion.
Take enough time to imbibe the atmosphere.
Best to visit in bad weather as many rooms are dark anyway.

Definitely worth a visit! A nicely curated collection is a well-designed display space. Tough if you have mobility issues, but even then much of it is accessible.

A wide range of brochures & leaflets are on display and available without the need to involve the staff, but... if you need some additional help they are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful

This is a "must-see" if in Honfleur. A very serene and attractive early medieval interior, with a fantastically carved west portal.

The whole town of Honfleur is a picturesque fairy tale place. This carrousel for the little ones is just adding to its beauty. It is set at the beginning of the harbor, just in front of the Town Hall.

This was big business; these 2 warehouses could store 10,000 tons of salt. With the rise in cod fishing, salt was needed to dry and preserve the fish. These are stone buildings with wooden roofs which ship builders in Honfleur could execute, based upon their skills building hulls. Look at the ceiling for their hull-shaped look.

Today, the warehouses are used for exhibits, conferences, and concerts. They are on Rue de la Ville.

Very easy to get there and easy to park. It clean and its New. The Outlet is on the small side, and the variety of shops are not great. You can do some good deals. Ok to drop in if you are in the neighbourhood, but no reason to travel just to check out this place.

I was her in March and the beach was fairly quiet, it was a nice day and had a good wander along it, its clean and large, I assume very busy in summer. The view across the water to Le Havre sort of ruins the look with factories and chimneys
